If people want knight level you have it.
We will be doing a bit everything, vehicle and ship combat, slicing using slicing rules, and a fair amount of combat.

I'm going to try and finalize concept this up coming weekend so until then keep throwing out ideas.
Does this have the potential to expand/extend into more than a one-shot mini campaign? Build changes depending on whether there's long term potential or if I'm making something just for short run shenanigans.
I had an idea about my character. What if a Force sensitive person came across an old Marksman-H droid, like the one Obi makes Luke train with on the falcon. So this things been in hiding for years, it's all sorts of loopy from no mem wipes. Well it was once owned by a Jedi, and knows enough to recognise my character has a natural ability for Lightsabers, so in return for protection it teaches my character.
Unfortunatly it's obviously a very limited Droid, it has no knowledge of the teachings of the Jedi. It just knows how Lightsaber combat should look... unknowingly it arms a potentially dangerous individual with just the right amount of the wrong information.
Edited by RichardbuxtonRight now I haven't the time for a full thing... But who knows... Right now it's a mini series. If I have more tube and is fun for all who knows!
If you still have open slots, I'll chip in as a PC
Ok I think that's 5?

I don't know, you're the GM First test of your GM'ing skills, accurately count up the number of players you have! GO!
I believe we are at 5 now. Gunbot(me), smuggler, darkside sentry, and mechanic plus whatever you make
I think that after tomorrow I should be able to start working out some details about my character, I'm quite busy at the moment.

Did you count this one?
Missed that one. I'm not positive on the count, I'll let the GM tally them up ?
By the looks of it though, seems like we're gonna have a pretty well rounded crew of miscreant mercenaries. I'm not 100% solid on my race yet but I know for sure I will be taking a heavily combat oriented character. Likely a droid but it's subject to change if something else catches my eye and creates a more interesting character to roleplay.
I think it's 6...
So figure out any relationships you have between yall, if you want I can do it... Muhahaha!!!
Well, I think I'm going to stick with a smuggler/pilot. I've got the basic background already figured out in my head, I'll post it once I've got a chance to type everything out..
These are the defining moments of my character Kaz. I want to find some connection to others in the group so this is just a beginning.
Kaz lives a lonely life, in his people's eyes he has gone rogue. His pack was enlisted by a Hutt to deal with a rogue mining operation, unfortunately it had gone rogue because the Empire had taken over. 4 entire regiments of Stormtroopers died on that asteroid before imperial command gave up on the mine and bombarded it with their fleet... Kaz was the only survivor. He swore an oath to eliminate every single Imperial there that day and the best people to do that with are the Rebels.
Works as muscle, and a sneak, digging up dirt for others, often finding out too much.
Found a small Marksman-H Combat Remote Droid, it was hiding in an abandoned shop, had been for years, was once owned by a Jedi. It recognised Kaz had an affinity for Sabers and has begun teaching Kaz how to use a Lightsaber. That little Droid and all its quirks where oblivious to the destruction it could be setting in motion. Without the proper teachings of a Jedi, Kaz was completely unaware discipline and emotional control was needed. His use of anger and hate, focused intently on the empire, was pushing him to ever more questionable tactics.
Kaz has lived on Nar Shaddaa quite a lot, but for a while now has been living with the Rebels.
He is secretive still, barely showing his soft black fur and avoiding small talk. He trains in secret with his Saber that everyone else thinks is a pistol. Only recently has he mastered the art of Reflect, and yesterday was the first time he managed to have his blade return to his hand... people gonna see soon he is more than just a bit of muscle.
They were two Corellian street rats, Jugo and Jamba. They liked to call themselves the Booster Brothers, thinking it gave them a sort of roguish charm, but they were just two more petty crook street kids, and everyone knew that. Everything changed when they saved the life of a hot shot Bothan slicer by the name of Mirin.
Mirin ran afoul of a group of neo-anarchist troublemakers called the Warriors, who were spread in dribs and drabs across the face of Corellia. It was stupid really. Both were in line at a kebab shop, the best in Corellia. The Warriors were taking an agonizingly long time to order and pay. Mirin made a comment. They made comments back. Parentage and sexual prowess and proclivities were disparaged. Things degenerated. Mirin was expecting his rep to protect him. The neo-anarchists didn't care. His rep did still save him, because it made Jamba and Jugo jump in.
With Mirin in their debt Jugo and Jamba planned a heist. They had an idea, one that would both put them on the map, and get them off Corellia. The Admiral in control of the Corellian sector was a man much unloved by the people under his “protection.” He was however something of a connoisseur of ships, perhaps the only thing he had in common with Corellians. His personal “captian's launch” was a HWK-290 lovingly restored, and with a well appointed saloon taking up the former cargo bay. As both a shuttle and a personal pleasure craft, he was quite fond of the ship.
Juggo and Jamba, with the help of Mirin, stole the ship.
Mirin altered the ship's registry and engines, cloning it to another of the ships still out there, and the two were out of Corellian space almost before Admiral Poniff knew what happened. They were free to explore and make a name for themselves as skilled and savvy smugglers, or so they thought. The Booster brothers horribly underestimated both how much Poniff wanted the ship and those that took it, and how thoroughly the Empire could search for something.
They were free and clear for a while, a year or two if memory serves, before their names and faces wound up on Imperial wanted lists. The brothers made for the rim, as one often does in these situations, and for a time managed to evade the imperials and bounty hunters.
Only for a time though.
Eventually the Imperials caught them in a trap. Jugo managed to escape, but Jamba did not. Jamba was taken to Crematoria, a prison planet that is perhaps second only to the Kessel mines for “places you don't want to wind up.”
Never much of a fan of the Empire even before they imprisoned his brother in some hell hole (almost literally), Jugo has taken up working for the Rebel Alliance. The deal is that he'll smuggle for them, and they'll figure out a way to get his brother out of Crematoria. It's been a while, with no sign that the Alliance is actually doing much of anything to fulfill their part of the deal, and Jugo is starting to loose patience.
Can the people who have already come up with PC's, be so kind as to post a quick career/spec? Just so I have some idea of what is already taken, concept wise. Redundancy is great and all, but also knowing which concept I can dust off to be different would also be great.
If I recall correctly, the GM wanted to have PC's from all 3 game lines? If so, this would help know which gaps still need to be filled.
Gank Sentinel Sentry. A Brawny character who also excels at sneaking. He is a Ranged Lightsaber User, even though his best weapon is actually a Phase Knife.
Honestly there isn't much you have to worry duplicating of Kaz, it wouldn't matter at all.

True, but the last pbp I was in, we had 2 Kel Dor Sages, so it got a bit odd. And while I personally don't have a problem with duplication of abilities, I'd like to try something different, without stepping on anyone else's toes.
At the moment, I'm thinking of dusting off my Spy/Slicer/Infiltrator concept, especially if we're doing Knight Play.
He's an ex-Imperial, low level officer/systems tech, who genuinely believed in the Empire's ethos, until his commander had their ship destroy an entire city to get at a theoretical Rebellion cell. (Apparently in the EU, Grand Moff Tarkin got his Moffness by doing something exactly like this, but I think he was super young when that happened, so I'm going with a different Officer, but similar situation, just for age purposes.)
He's since left the Empire, and has recently joined the Rebellion. He primarily uses his skills at Slicing to resolve problems, but also has turned his familiarity with Imperial procedures, to help him infiltrate their facilities (hence the Infiltrator). He's never been a fan of violence, hence why he was a keyboard jockey, and also because he believes that the rest of the Empire could be turned from their course, if they were only aware of the atrocities done in it's name. He was able to turn away, why can't they? So he's disinclined to kill, and prefers non-lethal methods of dealing with his problems.
He uses his slicing skills to try and find kernels of information, that can expose the rotten core of the Empire, and hopefully turn planets, and entire systems, away from Imperial control, destroying it by toppling the infrastructure, one byte at a time.
Ps Is this is going to be based on legends

I'm not sure what this statement means? Are you asking us or telling us it's based on Legends content?
Still at work so can't post the full concept, but I was thinking of playing an introspective Chiss Guardian who had failed to protect someone previously, and is feeling survivor's guilt due to his failure. I'll be able to post something more concrete when I get home!
Yes it'll be based on legends content.
However what time period is up to yall.
Edited by TheShardWell, personally I don't care when, though the specific concept I made is dependent on the Empire being in power, for him to defect from. But if you want to play Old Republic era or something, that's fine too. I can change concepts and character builds no problem. So whatever works for you as the GM really as far as I'm concerned. I'm flexible enough to whip together a PC no matter the setting.
