You reveal a green maneuver, BB8 lets you barrel roll. It triggers Experimental interface and you use it to pop Marksmanship. You get a stress from Experimental interface but you clear it with the green maneuver. Since you clear a stress, Kyle Katarn gives you a free focus. You then take a target lock as your regular action (for an added defense or attack dice...). Thats action economy :-)

You almost always have a target lock to reroll the blank dice give by Finn. That gives you a base attack of 5 dices from front and rear arcs. Jyn Erso has good chances of giving you more than 1 focus per turn. One will be for the pilot ability, the other(s) for offense/defense. Autoblaster is there to keep away any pilots who like to be at range 1 (like Fenn). If you want to be nasty, you pair him with Jan Ors (pilot) for a potential of 6-7 red dices per turn :-) You most likely still have some pts left for upgrades and the attack shuttle.
