Blood On The Altar

That feeling when you do 8 damage in one turn to the final boss and your role in the party is the investigator. (Daisy the Librarian)

Sounds like 2 well-laid plans...

Say how now?

Yup, was gonna try to pick up all the clues, but had those in my hand and looked like an easier win than all the time it would take to scoop up the clues so I went with it. After the resolution had a little regret, but even on Easy I've learned to avoid riskier paths because stuff can go sideways quickly. I had also dealt 2 damage the previous turn by reflecting his damage back at him with Hypnotic Gaze. Then my partner, playing Jenny came in and finished him off with an upgraded switchblade.

Fight. This attack uses [Intellect]. You deal +1 damage for this attack for each clue you have (max +3 damage).

I had Pathfinder. So I moved in for free, did 2 attacks, then moved right out of there. I could have also just investigated but I figured that it would be better to kill him.

Which Resolution is best remains to be seen, but I think Investigating without the Necronomicon is the worst; while with Necronomicon will be the best. The latter is the most difficult to accomplish and requires you to find the book in the Museum and keep it through the Express, then get it into play.

I had the necronomicon in play, actually. I just saw my opportunity and thought it was the least risky play in the long run.
