During an incident with 3 armed attackers Dimball Zik took a hit to his chest that will never fully heal. To protect this weakness, he wears a custom fitted laminate armor chest piece. In Hutt fashion it is ornately decorated with jewels and precious metals and consequently is worth a few thousand credits. While the Hutt may think otherwise, the 3 attackers only stopped because he granted them each a favor and a gift.

Other Influential Members:
A Female Falleen Slave Master (FFSM) - I don't quite have her name set yet but the PCs have bumped into twice at a distance. She is of intermediate rank within the Cartel but is considered more important than others of the same or slightly better status.

The Death Watch - this version of the Death Watch is led by a nephew of Pre Vizsla and had been contracted by the cartel to eliminate the PCs.

Fordune Addik - a Wookie Slaver that provides Wookie slaves to the Empire and slaves of other races to the Cartel. Killed by his nephew, a Wookie PC.

Based Where:
The Cartel is based on Sleheyron , an important Hutt world based on slave trade.

Sphere of Influence:
There are many worlds in Hutt Space that are "uncharted" on Republic or Empire starmaps.

Domai: This world is "owned" by the FFSM mentioned above. It is an Old Republic prison world in the Outer Rim before Hutt Space expanded around it. Using the prison facilities that dot the surface, Domai is a holding center for slaves that are to be sold or used by the Cartel before they are transported to Sleheyron.

Criminal Enterprises:
Slave Trade - buying, selling and using slaves for profit.
Unlicensed Blastech products - an old Blastech factory was found and transported to Sleheyron. The factory produces flawless copies of popular Blastech weapons at a reduced cost due to not paying licensing fees and using slave labor to manufacture the weapons.

Legal Fronts:
The Cartel is just beginning to expand into legitimate business in the Mid-Rim, specifically on Centares.

Centares Central Shipping has a reputation for being speedy, efficient, and, more importantly, discrete. Started by former smugglers Ran Limmel and Xon Artel, they later acquired capital and contacts from partnering with Tori Sarnal, a former shadowport owner that was located in Hutt Space, and Ulin Tor, a Duros Forger able to create false documents. Tori Sarnal is the Cartel's Shadow Representative. A fifth partner named Nils Morgan, a Shadow Representative of Governor Vato of Centares, eventually joined to help further ease restrictions in their operations.

History and Practices:
The Sleheyron Cartel goes back several thousand years and its power has ebbed and flowed several times during that timespan. While not quite as vicious as Jabba the Hutt, Dimball Zik still has a reputation as a harsh slaveowner. He jealously guards his fortune and cautiously enters new deals with others.

This is not a single criminal organization but I recently collected all of the bounties from the old LucasArts video game Bounty Hunter and formatted them for the iPhone.

The idea was to text them to my players every day or so, so that their characters might be on the lookout for bounties or known criminals in the background of our sessions.

It is sort of a big file and I have taken some license in updating the criminals to sometime around A New Hope but most of the information (including all of the pictures) comes from wookieepedia.

The What:
Zima the Hutt's Criminal Organization

Led by Who:
Zima the Hutt (Hutt Crime Lord)

Stats from EotE core book

Other Influential Members:

Queedus- Quarren Majordomo for Zima the Hutt

Bo'Bert- Twi'lek slave trader. Deals in Twi'lek, Wookie and Gammorean slaves

Greema- Rodian bounty hunter with the goal to rebuild the Crimson Nova bounty hunter's guild. The Empire pays well for Force Sensative people :D

Brannik- Zima's human man on the inside. It is Brannik's job to ensure spice that is mined on Kessel makes it to Foromos.

Based Where:
The Cartel is based on Teth near Hutt space

Sphere of Influence:
Zima operates his criminal enterprise on Teth with little regard for the Empire. The Imperial shipyards in orbit of the planet require a steady supply of slaves from Zima. This has lead to a very profitable arrangement between the Hutt and the local Imperial Moff.

Criminal Enterprises:
Slave Trade - buying, selling and using slaves for profit.
Spice Trade- buying, selling and transporting spice for profit.

Bounty hunting- Greema is more of an independent contractor with Zima. Greema gives Zima a cut of the bounties in exchange for a safe place to operate from.
