So after reading an article about arcs the other day I came up with this. Thinking g of trying it out has Anton e had experience with anything similar?

On paper it has a good action economy and some good synergy between ships. If everything hits can pump out 11 damage a turn and has 26 health between ships.

Norra - Probably fine. I would invest more in her upgrades, but that's hard to do with the ships you picked.

Cassian - You forgot the Pivot Wing title. If you can fit a Fire Control System, do it.

Thane - Expose is the worst use of 4 points in the game, and you're spending 5 on it. Change his astro, use the points you saved to get FCS on Cassian and a more offensive crew on Norra.

I really like the idea of R2D2 and Numb on the same ship. Regeneration will be a breeze, and opens up your dial.

I really want expose to be good, but it gives you one extra red at the cost of accuracy. I'd look for a different EPT.

Expose you can trigger with his pilot ability when you know your not being shot at so you know you don't need the defence dice. Your accuracy will be there from your initial action. Pivot wing will be on Cassian, forgot to write it in.

I'm going to try running Expose on "Youngster", keeping him behind a large ship with Tactical Jammer, and flying 2 Obsidian Sqdn pilots, a Punisher, and " Quickdraw". A tight formation, handing out Target Locks, taking Focus Action in the first two turns should make it difficult to pick a target. Nothing hinges entirely on Expose, but I suspect it'll be a deterent to cluster together, pick a target, and try to focus firing any single ship over another. "Youngster" will plink away with two reds, taking Evade actions and benefiting from his "mobile bunker". "Redline" and "Quickdraw" are the outriders: Extra Munitions, Cluster Missiles, Accuracy Corrector, Lightweight Frame, Crackshot...

Escalation, I think this is a good place to use Expose, in the latter tiers. A "sleeper" mickey.

This is definitely one of the better uses of expose out there I think.

I'm curious to see if it will work better than expected. Having jyn on Thane runs a bit counter to that plan though. Im not sure if you will get the 3-4 actions you really want; TL Focus Jyn Expose

I be fair I don't have a lot of experience with Thane, maybe he will get all the actions he could ever want.

The reason to run jyn and expose is to have different options for different situations. Think I'm going to run this Tuesday so I'll let you all know what happens.

My only confusion arises from Inspiring Recruit. Since Cassian's ability already removes stress at the beginning of the Activation Phase, why would you need it? Norra is already going to clear most of her stress from PTL by carrying Nien.

Have you considered dropping Nien and crewing Chopper, and dropping IR and getting Fire Control System on Cass?

I'm just toying around with tweaks that aren't really necessary. Your list seems thought out well, as it stands.

I actually had this exact idea on a thane/corran/ahsoka list. I can either not use expose or if its safe and they shoot corran, then i take the action. Like you said thane will still have potentially a tl and focus along with expose. I have only played one game with it and my dice were horrible first few rounds so im hoping to try it again lol

ahsoka really helps as well especially arc dodging in combat phase with VT, or getting your tl or focus.

I threw Jyn on my Corran/Thane/Ahsoka list. Put her on ahsoka so instead of giving a ship a free action i could assign multiple focus tokens to Corran or Thane. More useful on Corran though

He has much more health, an extra arc and more options for actions. He's not a must attack first so not really a 33pt biggs.
