A ship that "clicks" with you.

The HWK-290. She's risky to fly but she's usually served me well and faithfully.

But the K-Wing REALLY gets me. I've not had a match in several waves though! I'm gonna have to buy out a whole **** store, lol.

Tie S/F

FCS, Two arcs, double attacks, action after slooping. Yes please!

Great ship. Been flying Quickdraw since I got my hands on it.

Same for me. Its a perfect balance ship play style-wise in my eyes. When I fly Backdraft I get this warm and fuzzy feeling inside. Combo of system upgrade and tech slots makes it very adaptable. Decent HP ship with white 3-bank and barrel roll. Pretty much all 3s stat wise with Lightweight frame. And then the rear arc and a the fun of the title. And the dial is fun too. It can do almost anything, but some things come at a cost. Makes for fun tactical choices.

Seems I liked it so much I had to say it twice...

The HWK-290, specifically Torkil Mux. I don't fly other HWK-290 pilots.

He commands a squadron of PS1 pilots dubbed the "warthogs of outer rim" - his crew used to consist of 2 Y-wings and 2 Z-95, but they are phased out recently and replaced by 2 Quadjumpers, another HWK and a Scavenger Z-95 in response to the up and coming threat that is the 'meta'.

He strikes fear upon the most fearless of pilots, including Fenn Rau and Dengar.

TIE Phantom, Strikers, and TIE/D Defenders.

Post nerf phantoms are actually super fun to play, having to decloak before everything else makes it more challenging to outmaneuver your opponent, and that much more rewarding when you get that five dice shot with no hope for them shooting back...

Anytime you do the adaptive Ailerons maneuver you have to scream like you're on a rollercoaster, cause that's what I imagine my pilot is doing while pulling those crazy maneuvers. My favorite is an AA bank one way, then S-loop the other way.

TIE/D Defenders...nothing makes me happier than shooting at an ace who burns all of his/her tokens to avoid getting ionized, and then gets hammered by the second shot. Seriously, TIE/D was the first title I tested when it was spoiled.

A wings. Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge. Especially if Gemmer, Jake or Tycho are in the pilot seat.

The Lancer is probably mine. I've really found that both Ketsu and Assaj fit really well with my flying style, to the point where I'm very seriously considering buying another one and just running double casters.

The HWK-290, though it has been shelved for a while now. I played it from my very start in the game, took it to second place in my first (tiny) tournament back in wave 4. Made ridiculous things happen with it (One-shot a Defender with a Jan Ors-pumped APT from Nera Dantels), always had a good time. It also made me apreciate a dial that is good for the job it is supposed to do - I found that most of the time the HWKs dial actually is sufficient. It gave me a good laugh when people complained about the sf having a 'bad' dial.

Oh, and Omega Leader. Omega Leader is my spirit animal.

I think mine is the ARC-170 (Norra Wexley in particular), which is why I flew two of them at Regionals. I love the rear firing arc and thinking a few turns ahead to make sure I got those shots with Tail Gunner. Love flying it.

I've only had the chance to fly my K-Wing once, but I think it clicked with me pretty quickly. The Advanced Slam, bomb-dropping shenanigans. But more data is needed to verify that one :P

The Lambda shuttle. Way more than the Batshuttle.

A-wings and TIE interceptors for me. I'm naturally a movement-focused pilot, and these are pilots' ships.

Some of my best flying ever has been done with those ships, including reaching the final of a story championship with Fel/Jax/Firespray, and the semi-finals of a another event with four A-wings.

For me it has to be A wings and E Wings.

SOOOO much fun to fly, can be quite unforgiving if you get it wrong. i have had some semi good results with them and even when they get taken out i'm happy and keep flying them.

I also love K Wings now that i have my bombing eye in. having Warden squadrons take out one of your opponents aces, each game without fail is a good thing.

I just instantly loved the TIE Striker. I don't fly it well, mind you, but its mechanics really clicked with me.

Protectorates. Range 1 is my kind of lifestyle.

Is there a ship that "clicks" with you? A ship that you totally get. Last week at the store I play at. Another player I was watching was playing tie phantoms. He barely ever played one before. It was amazing. That ship "clicked" with him. It was awesome. He took out 6 ships with his 2. For me it's defenders. What yours?

TIE Phantom 'clicked' with me too, but the ship that this happened with the most for me was the TIE Swarm, as soon as I picked it up I knew exactly what I was doing. Yeah I crashed into myself a bunch at first, but it felt right immediately - the blocking, the killboxes, the focus fire. Just made sense.

Five. Cartel. Marauders.

Tie Punisher, especially Deathrain. It's like i'm flying myself, I too am large, silly, and not very good in a competitive environment.

Tie striker for me. Dropped it into a Furball 1st time flying it. Duchess alone racked up over 150 points before she finally got caught

This, this and again this. I love the Punisher. Especially Deathrain. And Interceptors. Man, I gotta build a list with all Zippies and Clunkies now.

Deathrain is the trolliest ship I have ever flown. People always forget about the bombs until you drop one right in their face.

X-Wings! The T-65 X-Wing was my ship when I first started playing, but I fell in love with the T-70 when it came out. Every list I run either has a T-65 (Wedge or Biggs mostly) or a T-70 (Poe, Nien, Snap and Jess mostly)

The Hound's Tooth. It's something about that 180 degree firing arc speaks to me. Looking forward to the Wookiee ship, hopefully it doesn't suck...

Tel Trevura also speaks to me on a personal level. There is just something about having 12 life behind 2 greens. And PS7+2, for some fun Ace hunting.

Also, it doesn't necessarily speak to me, but I love the Scyk. I desperately want to get good with it.

Inquisitor and OL. Seems like almost every imperial list I start to make has those two as a basis.

I do love defenders as well though.

I'd say Firesprays, YVs, and B-wings.
