Does dropping an ACTION header bomb with Constable Zuvio's pilot ability take up my action, or is it essentially a free action?

Can I reveal a reverse maneuver, drop an ACTION bomb, perform the reverse maneuver, and because I triggered Pattern Analyzer then do a Spacetug Tractor Array action before I get the stress?

It neither takes up your action, nor is it considered a free action (Meaning effects that trigger after an action of any sort don't trigger). You just get to drop it.

Another consequence of it not being a free action: you can do it if stressed. Or you could, if you could satisfy the trigger condition without running into the recent FAQ that prevents U-Wing title -3 Koiogran shenanigans.

I don't have the exact page number but its a change in the wording that affects what you can do if you reveal a red when stressed. Prior to the recent FAQ, Zuvio could reveal a reverse while stressed, drop the bomb out the front, then perform the white 2 straight (I used this to win a match, shocking my opponent who thought I'd never proton bomb myself). Now, you are unable to resolve any effects when you reveal a red while stressed, unless they change the difficulty of the maneuver... Sadly dropping the bomb out the front does nothing to change the maneuver.

Thanks. I was looking for a card FAQ for the U-Wing. I have an idea where to find this.

If you want to push it to another extreme: Zuvio, mindlink, outlaw tech, pattern analyser, spacetug tractor array, cluster mines and scavenger crane

- Reveal a red manoeuver, drop the bomb through the pilot ability

- Perform the red manoeuver, get a focus from outlaw tech (transmitted through mindlink)

- Do another action (tractor beam?)

- Only then take the stress

You can also use your action with pattern analyser to drop your bomb behind you instead. The quadjumper can be a neat little ship

I was just trying to make a build this way when I found this thread .. the stress is sent through mind link as well, but I still like it ..
