Storing Ship Cards

By Tri3, in Star Wars: Armada Off-Topic

How are you guys storing the small ship cards? I see some people using binders, but I was wondering if anyone has any other options.

Are you talking about the large ship cards, the ship bases (carboard), the squadron cards, or the upgrade cards?

Hi,

iam using the Boxes from Sir Willis.

Just so we're clear, I was asking so I could make recommendations based on your actual needs.

For ship cards, I recommend storing each ship back-to-back in standard Tarot card size sleeves and keeping them together in a box or storage compartment with the models. The double card setup keeps the cats from bending.

For the ship bases, I recommend a fishing tackle case or compartment, where you can also store your ship cards.

For the squads, sleeve and store in a standard 9-card binder sleeve like you'll find in any baseball card or comic shop. Pave in a 3 ring binder. I got a slightly more expensive one that zips up so if any fall out they aren't immediately lost.

For the upgrade cards, get a 16 card USA Mini size sleeve. Ultra-pro makes them for X-wing. This is handily your best option, at around 25 cents a sleeve you can grab several for a few bucks and store every upgrade card. Double a few up, sort them by upgrade type. Around ten dollars can have you set for years.

Pretty much this. What I need is for my LGS to be able to get these: http://www.ultimateguard.com/en/boxes-cases/flip-deck-case/tarot-flip-deck-case-70.html

Ordered 1 of those Tarot Flip Decks. I have similar ones for my Star Wars Destiny cards and they work great.

The cards I was talking about were the Upgrade cards. I already have them sleeved, I was hoping there was a smaller box similar to the Tarot flip Deck box that the cards could be stored in.

Ordered the Ultra PRO Platinum 16 Pocket Platinum Mini American Cards, 41mm x 63mm, Clear from Amazon. I figured I can use it both for Armada and X-Wing.

Thanks!

Where did you order the Tarot Flip Deck Case from?
