my brother who quite enjoyed the game, but doesn't have the time nor the interest in plunging and buying the game (getting into a miniatures game is kind of too geeky for him)

My brother in law, enjoyed the game as well. Might pick the game up one day once his little kids are a little less dependant. Until then...

Happy friday to you Cubanboy and to the rest of the forum!

That's a big negative. My mother doesn't do any games, and my dad's not a big star wars fan. My brother would have loved this game, but sadly he passed 10 years back. So it's up to lil old me to carry the Armada burden :)

Happy Friday!!!

I've not gotten family to do Armada. X Wing, another story.

Got my new car today. So, I'm excited to see $60/wk taken out of my paycheck for the next 3 years. It was time though. My 04 Mazda 6s was just starting to become a dog. But at 225kmi on the clock, it didn't owe me jack squat.

Happy Friday!

My 10 year old son likes to play, but doesn't like to lose. He likes to build his own fleets and is starting to understand how to play a little bit.

My 8 year old daughter likes to play also. We play straight up, no objectives, obsticles, or upgrades. Just admirals.

My wife played once with me. She is willing to play again but it has been over a year.

Happy Friday!

Yeah my brother is quite interested and occasionally plays armada with me

Happy Friday!

Unfortunately my only family member who I would try to tempt in lives on the other side of the country.

I can't even get my x-wing buddies to play Armada. I've had zero interest from family.

When mcworrell (friends count as family too!!) cant play, I play with my grandpa. I have to help him along but he's getting better

My wife has no interest in this stuff, but my oldest (4 years old) is slowly catching on to both Armada and X-Wing. I usually have to cut a lot of the rules out and most of the dials are too difficult to utilize because he has a sensory disorder. He loves rolling dice so every so often I pull out a few ships, we roll some dice, move some ships on a playmat and have a little fun while he pummels me to death with his nearly perfect dice rolls.

happy fridays!

Nope... rest of my family arent intrested :\

Happy Friday!

I have gotten my wife to play a game with me on occasion (she wins far more than she should, considering her lack of regular practice!), though it's been quite a while since she did. My son is starting to show interest, though right now he's more interested in X-Wing and Pokemon than Armada. Silly boy.

Happy Friday everyone!

Actually, it was my son who introduced the game to me. I have been addicted ever since. My son will play the occasional game with me, but he has moved on to other games (Malifaux and Guild Ball). So when we play a game together, it is usually Guild Ball these days.

My 21 year old son has joined me for one game, but he isn't over often enough to take him away from family time for a game. Both my 16 and 13 year old sons are my usual opponents, along with one of their friends. So far I have gotten 3 members of my gaming group to give it a whirl. One actually picked up the core set.

All this is really good because I haven't been able to get to any of the local games since before Christmas.

I can't wait till my sons are 16 and 13 so I can play games with them! They are 3 and 0 currently, so I have a little while to go. Right now the 3 year old plays Armada- and by that, I mean, takes my star destroyers and runs around the house blasting imaginary Luke Skywalkers with pew pew noises and then crashing them violently into the couch. I also have no antenna on my Victories.

I play Wifemada with some regularity, but not since the newest boy was born. She has strict "family time/Armada time" boundaries so we need to get back to the point where we have free time together before Armada can resume.
