I saw the announcement, but did this actually release? I've not seen it in games stores / Amazon.

AFAIK the mats are produced by FFG's print-on-demand services, so they need to be ordered.

If you are coming to Worlds they DO have them at the Fantasy Flight Game Center.

so, having ordered the mat through my FLGS 2 weeks ago, should mean that I'll have one soon? (I hope)

It's been my experience that stores don't stock too many of these because it turns into a dead product as soon as the map rotates out.

Cool Stuff or a similarly larger store should stock them ultimately, but if those aren't viable destinations for you, it might be more difficult.

The IA mats have always been annoying for me to get from Toronto, as our Canadian distributor really slow rolls getting stuff like this in and then out to retailers.

Luckily, I'm off to Worlds again so I'll definitely be getting mine from the FFG store.

Keep searching online and stay in contact with a few stores until one of them gets it in. These mats are one of the big missing links to keeping a competitive scene going in your area, but they're difficult to come by.

I've never worked so hard to get a component for a game before.

I'm hearing that the FFG Center has a waiting list for Jabba's Palace.
