Some people might say that, but it's considered bad English. You wouldn't see things like "PIN number" or "ATM machine" written down in a newspaper or anything else that's actually being edited and follows some sort of a style guide.

Logical consequence of abusing the use of non-explained acronyms? Some people do say "PIN number" where I live, consequence of them not knowing what PIN stands for (in spanish we should talk about NIP anyway, much like NATO vs OTAN).
