New stuff is off the boat!!

I got mine preordered. Now it is just a waiting game.

Sigh, May 11th I feel like that release date shouldn't hurt me like it does.

I have had good experience with them. I would go with www.thewarstore.com. They are a little bit cheaper but you have to pay for shipping. You can get free shipping at cool stuff by ordering like 100 dollars worth of stuff from them. So the choice is yours. Both places are good to order from.

I've been ordering from Coolstuff for many years, since my Star Wars Miniatures Heydey, and I've never had any problems with them.

My understanding as a Canadian that abused the crap out of those stores while his wife was travelling for work is that MM had fast shipping for the NW and CSI was great for the east/se. The stuff in Florida I got delivered was there in a day. I think it's right around there.

And also you guys are so lucky to have that, up here I can save like maybe 20 bucks on a 100-150 dollar order (Canadian), but nothing compared to down there. I was lucky to line my hoth order up with a CSI sale and got everything half price for what I would pay here. I added a bunch because it was so cheap, my wife bought an extra cheap suitcase at Walmart to bring it all home for me and I still saved almost 200 bucks...then sold the suitcase on our version of Craigslist for a profit lol

I've been ordering from Coolstuff for so long that I maxed my discount YEARS ago. Nary an issue with an order...

I've also used MM for a very long time, mainly once CSI stopped carrying a few games I played.

So when you say new stuff, is that Hera and Chopper etc?

Question for you guys that have preordered before:

Do you often get your stuff close to the release date, or does the stuff start shipping to you on the release date?

Depends where you order from and where you live.

When I preorder from Miniature Market, it takes maybe 3-5 business days- which is pretty fast, but I also don't live too far from their HQ. Other places like CoolstuffInc take significantly longer for me, at least 7 business days. For instance, I didn't get my preordered Jabba's Realm wave from CoolStuffInc until mid January when it came out late December (Holiday also probably had an effect on that, though).

Basically, don't expect Amazon-style shipping unless you're actually going to pay premiums for fast shipping.

Looks good, but of course what I'm most excited for is the Jawa as I can't add the rest into the ongoing campaign.

Yeah, that's kinda my thoughts-

Though, while I'm in the middle of one core campaign right now, about to start a RTH one with a different group. I might bring along 000 and BT1, and the Rebels would be smart to consider Hera and Chop.

I'm in the same boat, right in the middle of a campaign - so no new toys I can use right now. My son really wants them for his skirmish deck though, so considering going to the LGS on Thursday the 11th. Do they usually have them available on the first day, or is that too optimistic (I'm in the US)?

ask your LGS, mine always has them Thursday. If I go at lunch they enter them in the system and sell them to me then. If I go at night, they're on the shelves.
