When you enter a tournament venue, menacingly walk up to someone, say "You", and then pin it to their shirt.

When you get paired up with that person, stare them down all game.

Well played, sir. Love this post.

If Kallus was released today he'd come with a condition card.

All the condition cards include a token to sit by the ship they are assigned to.

I don't see why Kallus should be any different.

How high were the designers when they made that token? Where am I supposed to put that during the game? Do I ask my opponent to pin it to their shirt so I remember I have Kallus?

I would guess the token is meant to go on the ship card, not the ship.

Sounds about right. Which means it will do a terrible job of reminding the player with Kallus but at least will work if the situation ever arises of "Who did Kallus pick on again?"

More pics of stuff

That R2-D2 prize is interesting... would it be a legal substitution for both the droid and integrated? Might be a cool way to have a 4th integrated astromech, with stipulation that it's r2-d2 only

Yes, of course it's a legal sub for R2D2 and Integrated.

If it comes from an official FFG prize kit, it's legit game components.

Kallus token seems pretty large also. And there's range 1, 2, and 3 range rulers as well. Top 8 get range 3 and Top 4 get range 1 and 2.

Looks exactly like the Femme Fatale tokens we got for Netrunner this SC season, which are incidentally exactly the right size to cover the art pane on ICE cards, which are what you'd be marking with the token in Netrunner. Interesting they'd keep the same size but I guess it standardizes manufacturing/ordering; just get a ton of acrylic tokens of the same size and print whatever art you need on them.

EDIT: Of course now that I've seen the other pictures and the back of the thing is black, the ordering efficiency thing goes out the window. They must just consider it a good size for showing art.

It's not a token...like an acrylic token....it's a token in the "magic the gathering" sense.

It's a card. Upgrade card size.

I love the plaque, it's so much better than last year's.

Indeed.

Plaque is more like the years before. I hated the plain ones with just words.

Hope so, cause a ship carrying that token be like:

For my own edification:

Can the tables showing maneuver dial choices be laid out for reference during tournament event games. They state the following: "The table below lists all the possible maneuvers that a (insert ship) can execute. Keep this sheet on hand so that players can reference this table at any time."

Another question: As worded, is this a mandate? Must a player keep these on hand for reference by any player at any time?

You can use them. You don't have to.
