I am new to the game. I just purchased the two starter decks. My wife and I played our first game and was confused by the wording on a few of the cards. I hope it is ok to ask here.

1. Use of Force

Quote

Spot a Blue character to turn a die to any side.

What exactly does spot mean in the text?

2. Jedi Robes

Quote

After you play this upgrade, give attached character 1 shield, or 2 shields instead if it is the first round of the game.

Do you get to add a shield to the attached character each time you roll the Jedi Robes dice, or only once when you first attach it to a character? I assume that it is just once?

3. Force Throw

Quote

[Special] - Remove a die to deal a character damage equal to the value showing on that die (specials and blanks are zeroes).

Is it only an opponents dice, or your own as well?

4. BB-8

Quote

[Special] - Reroll this die and one of your other dice. Do not remove this die from your pool after resolving this ability.

I'm hoping that someone can explain this card to me in detail. I am new to the game and this cards special confused my wife and I during our first game. What good does it do to leave this die in your pool after resolving this ability?

5. Finn

Quote

You can attach any weapon to this character, ignoring play restrictions.
You can include Red Villain weapons and vehicles in your deck.

His card says you can attach any weapon to this character, making me think you can only attach them to Finn. But it also says that you can include red villains weapons and vehicles in your deck . So does that mean you can also attach a red villain weapon/vehicle to your other non-Finn characters as long as Finn is one of your characters?

Look to see if you have a surviving character of that color, if not, do nothing, if so, do what the card says

Get more re-rolls/get money, etc.

You can attach upgrades to any characters, so long as the play restrictions are met

They weren't, everyone started at some point and probably had similar questions

To expand on point 5, Some weapons may have restrictions that say, for example, blue character only. In a team with Finn, you would only be able to attach that weapon to a blue character or Finn.

I am still a little uncertain on point 1. You said:

So it can be an exhausted character? Any blue character so long as that character has not been removed from the game?
