I'd be all for an errata'd alt art x7. I'll probably stil use x7 some. Palp I didn't use in the first place, so I'm not any more likely to use now. Zuckuss and manaroo I MIGHT use, but am not in any lists righ tnow.

I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that if one of the errata cards was the Store Champ card, it'll have the original (non-errata'd) text.

They give out errata cards as prizes in IA. I see no reason that wouldn't happen in X-Wing too.

Honestly I wouldn't mind if they started reprinting some of the alt arts to go along with new ones. Offer 3-8 reprint cards to hand out for some sub categories "most rocks hit", "longest running game",(those are really bad examples, but you get the idea) and stuff along similar lines. Reprints of movie still Chewie, Wedge, Biggs, Vader, Luke, Gold squadron pilot (Please, what has been seen cannot be unseen) etc.

It probably will but the reasons it is less likely to happen in this kit is because of design, manufacture and shipping lead times. The nerf wasn't that long ago and there is a very good chance these kits were being planned 6+ months ago and the art work sent out to manufacturing 2 months+ etc

I just spotted a grainy picture of Engine Upgrade featuring a close-up of a Y-Wing Engine and a strange 2-in-1 card featuring R2-D2 and Integrated Astromech on the same side. They looked legit enough, the Engine Upgrade even features the illustrator's name at the bottom like the just-unveiled Rey alt-art Worlds prize has, but who knows.

I'd like more bulk to the player kits - like 32 of each of 5 errata'd cards. If that bumped the kits from $10 pp to $15pp I'm down with that.

Overall, I just want to be able to field my 4 x Bombers with extra munitions without buying a massive combination of packs to get the necessary cards

That is the correct AA engine upgrade in the kit. The Rey and the R2-D2/Intergated Astromech combo card are for a 40th celebration. The other store champ prizes are bye and plaque for first, top two acrylic Kallus tokens, top four range 1 and range 1/2, top eight range 1/3. Range rulers are orange.

Wonder what the 40th Celebration is. Something like the Father's Day promo with the small Luke/Vader double-sided card last year, that stores will be handing out?

Eh, shows how much I know. Now that I'm looking at it, it looks nothing like a Y-Wing engine.

They suggest running a tournament and live streaming worlds for the Rey promo and suggest setting a 40th anniversary tournament for anytime on or after 5/25 and handing out the R2/IA card. And that is it that you pictured above.

Interesting. So were these distributed with the store champ kits? Seems like an efficient way to distribute them. Although if they distributed them in the kits, that makes me wonder if other stores not participating in the store championship season will be able to get them. A huge local game store that didn't host store championships last year (they don't even do X-Wing seasonal kit events ) had a MASSIVE stack of the Father's Day promos.

And what is the Rey card? The same alt-art that everyone participating in Worlds gets?

I like those suggestions a lot though when compared to the thought of having to get top 2 or top 16 or something to get them. I want them bad.

They were distributed with the kit, there was an announcement a little while back that the kits would include worlds promos this year. The 40th anniversary promo was a surprise. There are multiple copies of the R2/IA 40th card. Sorry I didn't get any pics, our local store got the kit in today and I went by to take a peek on my way home from work.
