Can't remember who put the idea out there but I am warming to the idea of Attani Mindlink makes all green turns white. I think it has a real chance of flattening the power curve while still allowing Kihraxz and Scyk to maybe eke out some decent squads with Mindlink.

Seriously. I adore the lancer because it's a squint-type dial that can actually take a pounding, but it has no business having a squint dial.

That was my idea and I was told it would kill the upgrade, while, truth be told, I believe it is a very mild nerf at best that only hits the fang fighter a bit. Lancers still have their extra arc coverage, Jumpmasters still their turret, the other ships just aren't affected. Which is good, because if you have to run Guri instead of Fenn your list is pretty good, but objectively weaker, which should be the goal here.

No way it "kills" the upgrade. It might make you examine some other EPT's (good), it might make you consider some of the other scum ships (good). I likes it.

Agree with a lot of the comments about the JM5K's dial. FFG were clearly being cautious with the first-ever asymmetrical dial, but in the end it's strengths really outweigh it's disadvantages.

Oh, and it can also synergise K4 and Unhinged. Madness, I tell thee.

It kills it for Fenn and probably the Jumpmaster, but there are plenty of lists with other ships waiting in the wings to take up the torch. The Lancer's probably fine, I use the 3 bank a lot more than the 3 turn with Assaj most of the time.

I mean it has pursuit craft right in the name. It also doesn't go slow in green which is a reasonable and meaningful difference. The 2 hard turn being white is especially relevant near board edges and such. The dial is great but I think actually pretty reasonable for such a ship.
