Also think it's interesting you put QS on the Farrboat while BH goes on the Satowagon. Is it cause you plan to fly both in dangerous and not lifeboat Sato away?

Farr boat has to maintain distances so the boost helps with that while the Haven does wonders for Admiral survival

Always nice when a list gives you the feels! Just seemed like the opposite of how I would do it so wanted to pick your brain! Thanks for the good thoughts!

I do silly things. Like make nebulons good :P

You get 4 dice out of Satos ability. Plus double arcs, so potentially 6-8 once you get close enough. And a CF from Salvation. And Salvation is the only one with black dice gimmicks.

Now Sato is probably a better choice than Ackbar. You did that good ?

It's like you don't know me. Why would one want Ackbar here.

The Nebs are weird, but fine I guess. Extra red dice with no mods is questionable.

I'm more curious about the double BCC and Norra when you only have 3 bombers in the list. 16 points to reroll 50 points worth of bomber dice. Plus Toryn.

What are the VCXs doing? Targetting Beacons is a better choice IMO since you can carry the tokens with you since you have double FCT. And then your Sato dice get rerolls, which is essential for Salvation to deal max damage.

If I were to show up at a tournament, I'd pick Station Assault. IMO, the list is not very scary and is quite fragile. Sato does not have tremendous value since you have 2 ships that benefit. I'd charge into the stations and kill the Nebs. The squads don't pose a threat to ships or squads.

I don't expect to win but sure pick the stations! I have taken out more... "durable" lists. It is a lot of fun

Have you really built an entire Sato list, for just the Salvation uber damage possibility? Where is your anvil?

Well, people tend not to run Nebs unless it is Yavaris. And even then it's pretty slim. FCT and Flight Commander is a great combo since you can scoot your B-Wings forward and then trigger Yavaris. I don't know many people who run turbolaser upgrades on it since the main focus is to attack with squads, not ships.

I run Salvation with Raymus. CF an extra black. Quite a few people run Spinal Armament on it as well, but I think Dual Turbo Turrets would be a better option since it's the same effect but half the cost. You just have a lower maximum damage.

In my experience with Sato, he is best used in MSU style, or at least 2 ships that can combo with him. So Scout MC30 for the red dice with APTs. Allows you to toss APTs at long range. Or Liberty with NK-7 Ion Cannon, to rip tokens off from long range before you get to medium where you can use your full attack pool. With MSU, you get more value since you can change more dice.

I use Sato with Paragon+OE and CR90As with no mods. CR90s are easy to double arc, and you toss 4 blacks. It's not the most efficient build but it's fun when you roll 4 damage out your front and your opponent wasn't expecting it.

I don't know... I dropped a few ISD pretty fast with this setup. Who knows. My lack of skill likely won't make it work.
