Dune would be awesome, I would also like a Android coop boardgame where you have to infiltarte and steal information/data like in the setting for Android: Infiltration, just as a coop boardgame with minis, and I think some peope would also enjoy a Android RPG..
What should FFG do next?

They can't, they already tried. The game "Rex: Age of Imperium" is an update to a really old Dune board game. They got the rights to the game itself, and tried to get the rights to Dune but couldn't, so they reworked the game a little to set it in their own Twilight Imperium universe.

- a board game, so I can play it with both my veteran and casual gamers friends
- with pretty miniatures
- in a sci-fi settings, possibly cyberpunk
- with AI mechanics included, so can be played as full coop or One player controlling the bad guys
- with all the shiny scifi stuff like hacking, augmentations, drones, braking into corporation safehouses etc.
- with tactical, grid based movement like Imperial assault
- with a campaign mode exactly like in imperial assault but with time limit being known to the players
I'd pay any money for that.
This game in development fits your criteria: http://www.warforgedfc.com/
It went on KS recently but was pulled due to the need for more marketing.
Fury road.
Mad Max cars, with a board that's a road. Where you keep removing the back tile and adding a new random one to the front for an endless road.
It's been done before but the idea keeps coming back as needing to be FFG'd
