On advances, non-career advancements cost more to obtain (depending on what your investing in. ie- 2 advances for a basic skill outside ones career) then career advancements.
My question is - Do these same restrictions apply on character creation since career choice is step 2, and point allocation is step 3? Or is it negated for the sake of creation process. Which one would propably be better investing all their points into non career skills so they don't need to pay twice/four times the amount for skills later on with advancements.
If this is one of those GM decisions, kindly reply with your groups approach and how it's handled.
