All this clicking external links to get pictures, boo hiss.
May I recommend thinning your paints? The work looks quite grainy/sharp, and generally that is the first step to alleviating this.
Keep it up.
How do you apply ink? Every time I try it I end up with a black coat all over my squadrons...
Tips for inks:
Unless you're doing pour overs on canvas, first turn the ink into a wash: I prefer Les Bursley's recipe (google fu time!)
You can control how much wash stays on the surface (tint or shade) and how much goes into the recessss by altering two things: surface finish of the object amd surface tension of the wash. The glossier something is, the less color will stay on the surface. If you want nice neat lines of color on the seams, you can glosscoat in acrylic floor wax and use a smidgen of windex or alcohol or dish soap in your water for the paint to decrease the surface tension.
Or, you can go the other route and glosscoat with acrylic, then use oils or watercolor inks/washes. Then, when its dry, you wipe off the excess using mineral spirits for oils or water for watercolors.
Then you dull it down with airbrushed matte medium or testors rattlecan dullcoat.
I used to have a thread here somewhere detailing some quick and dirty tricks... im on a phone atm so a bit hrd to search.

Well, if we run with it a little, the term Oniwaban means "one who is in the garden" or "guard of the garden", or simply "gardener"... The reason why you're in the garden is you're a freakin' ninja assassin who uses the garden to grow all sorts of poisons.
So he's calling you a freaking Ninja.

Was actually going more peotic and the whole cultivating a forum of information through prudent sowing, but whatever floats your boat. Either way, his silence is consent in that he is now a plant librarian.
Love the Decimators. One quick idea for the Firespray is to brush on a little gloss varnish to the canopy. Adds a lot to the final effect.
