I'm trying to fit both into a 100 point list and it's just not coming together. Any ideas?
Anyone have a good list with Dash and Rey?
The toughest parts about this are that you can't realistically fit Finn on Rey for points purposes, and you can't use Rey Crew on Dash--one of the #1 key elements for making him economical.
The best I could come up with was this:
Dash Rendar
--Lone Wolf
--Heavy Laser Cannon
--Outrider
Rey
--Trick Shot
--"Zeb" Orrelios
--Kanan Jarrus
--Title (Sloop)
I'm fine with the thin 50-point Dash, but I don't really like this Rey, as it doesn't capitalize on here ability as well as it could. If I had to build a 50-point Falcon, I'd much prefer the classic Han + Title + C-3P0, and put Rey on Dash in place of Lone Wolf for those sweet, sweet double mods.
You could make Rey good but Dash bad. There's just not enough points to make both good.
Squadron 770 (100/100)
=====================
YT-1300: Rey (45 + 9)
+ Adaptability (0)
+ Finn (5)
+ Kanan Jarrus (3)
+ Millennium Falcon (TFA) (1)
YT-2400: Dash Rendar (36 + 10)
+ Veteran Instincts (1)
+Chopper (0)
+ "Mangler" Cannon (4)
+ Outrider (5)
In this build Rey gets the Essentials.
But Dash gets stuck with a Mangler and no usefull crew. But both are PS9.
Every time I see a Mangler Outrider, I wonder....why not just a Resistance Sympathizer? For example:
Resistance Sympathizer
38
(45)
--Recon Specialist
--Jan Ors
--Smuggling Compartment
--Feedback Array
There's a ship than has a 3-turret natively, can Focus/Evade with a single action, and has nasty auto-damage when facing high-agility aces. Looks much nicer to me than a Mangler Dash.
I totally agree. But the OP wanted Dash + Rey.
You could skip the title on Dash and run HLC instead of Mangler and put on Lone Wolf. But.... Meh..

This... is pretty good.
I don't think I'd know what to do without Outrider title. Flying that ship with only a front arc would make my head explode
I can't speak for Rey, I haven't played her yet, but you can make a decent autoblaster dash for 50 points. Give him VI and a crew to help with action economy or repositioning and he's actually pretty lethal. More so than most people give him credit for. There is not very many ships than can keep away from auto-dash when he wants to snuggle up to you.

Sadly, Rey crew is my favorite crew for non-PTL Dash, but you can't fly that next to a Rey pilot.

Well, it would have its 2 dice turret primary in that case, so you wouldn't only have a front arc.
But going along with the discussion, I think you have to keep the ships pretty thin to fit them both, and that just isn't really doing enough for these ships that really need to be stacked pretty heavy with upgrades to shine. Think you are better looking for a different pair, but if you really have to fit them together, go for 0 point upgrades like Trick Shot and Chopper crew to save as many points as possible.

True, still primary 360. Was really more joking about still having HLC equipped, but only front arc to use it
