So what accessories do people want/expect from FFG to support the game, or where can i petition that the official L5R Clan playmats be from the art of the "Way of the [Clan]" cards!
Also it would be nice they give us sleeves with the card back art, and Clan specific Honor dials... I don't think i am asking much, am i?

Acrylic tokens, but I imagine that will be the province of third-party manufacturers.

I think it is a safe bet we will get mats and card sleeves. They've done them for their other games.
I'd like to get tokens that are not made of cardboard. Clan specific stuff for various items would be nice.
AGoT2 has mats, sleeves, tokens and alt art cards.
Personally, I'm hoping for something like these for Honor tokens...

Essentially, it's like an RPG sourcebook, but with 0 crunch, and all fluff. The have done this with both Netrunner and Akrham Horror, and belive the books are gorgeous.

Also what kinda interestes me is if FFG has plans to use their L5R License in other game media also. Like Boardgames for example...
I miss Flying Tricycle. They made cool accessories (that I didn't have the foresight to keep).
I think I still have my granite KDA somewhere. Granite strongholds would be radical.
I only played GoT briefly, but these were my favorite tokens by a long shot, specifically the premium power tokens and the coins.

Speak to the guy at Citadel Quartermaster. He makes granite Faction Cards for AGoT. Maybe you can get him to support L5R LCG.

Yeah! Clan Mon on the side with a bunch of card art along the length. I though they were awesome.
One thing worth mentioning is that they recently made using dice instead of counters illegal in Netrunner tournaments. I'm expecting the same rule for L5R. The logic was that they are too easily adjusted, whether accidentally or intentionally. So if that's anyones plan, it only works for casual play.

Yes, brokenegg makes very good both in quality and aesthetic tokens for Agot. Their acrylic ones would be perfect imo for L5R.

Edited by C3gorachI backed the Rising Sun kickstarter and one of the stretch goals was some nice looking koku tokens. I very nearly got them because I thought maybe I could use them in the new L5R.
Found it amusing when the game was announced and there was no longer any koku! - A lesson in managing expectations!
Undoubtedly playmats are on the way, I personally prefer minimal, maybe immersive designs rather than over-sized distracting art.

That game's design would be such a perfect match for an L5R boardgame it's silly. All you'd need to do would be to change names and stuff and replace the map of Japan with one of Rokugan.

Dear FFG, would you mind some sleeves with a version that instead of the five rings has the clan mon (keeping the cardback colors)? I would prefer those to some sleeves with characters from the game, which you can still make if you want, eh?
