Breakfast. Eat it.

By Ardaedhel, in Star Wars: Armada

Okay, because Biggs isn't coming, I'll go ahead and kick this off.

Who wants to eat breakfast at Worlds with Ard and the Mutually Exclusive Cool Kids? Also, where should we eat?

It doesn't have to be particularly early, at least on Wednesday, because Armada doesn't kick off til 1:30 so we could really do brunch and be fine. Also, calling it "brunch" brings the option of mimosas into play, which I'm totally on board with.

BREAKFAST CLUB SCHEDULE (Tentative)

Wednesday :

1030 - Brunch at Baker's Square
1300 - Show time at FFGC

Thursday :

0715 - Breakfast at Baker's Square
0900 - Show time at FFGC

I'll be there!

Wish I could go.

Also, reminder for brunch: without booze, it's just breakfast.

Ard, message me and I'll get you linked up with Chris J. He's helped me with breakfasts in the past, and can help you out as well.

Might as well post it in this thread. You guys get an awesome Worlds experience. 5 Rounds over 2 days, and a top 4 cut!

Unfortunately you get sent to the kids table with Wednesday / Thursday tournaments. At least we get primetime billing Thursday night with the Swiss cut streaming.

Depending on the time I'm in. I'm driving up both day, but with a later start on Wed, should totally work.

I'll be there

Count me in!

Sure for the Wednesday!

Bump for breakfast!

bump for more details.. all I know is there is a taco bell across from the motel 6.. anyone with better suggestions?

As awesome as Taco Bell is...

I'm poking around on Google Maps and see a place called Baker's Square in walking distance that looks pretty good. Looks boozeless, but, eh. :)

I'm thinking we meet up at 1030 on Wednesday. Should give us lazy-asses ample sleep-in time, with still plenty of time to shuffle back on over to the FFGC for the 1300 registration start time.

Day 2 check-in is at 9, so we'd want to show up probably around 730 that morning.

Objections or alternative suggestions? I'll update the top post with tentative schedule and details. I'm very open to input because this is my first trip to Roseville.

We went to Baker's Square last year and I thought it was good; it is also within walking distance of the game center and surrounding hotels.

Personally, 1030 seems late for breakfast; I'd prefer something like 900 - 930, but I'll be there either way.

Oh this sounds fun, I'll certainly try and show up as well.

What is this, some passive aggressive complaint about Worlds being somewhere that you are not?

Take it somewhere else.
