So I never did a course in statistics, they had me playing with imaginary numbers in my major, never used it.

Anyways, I'd like to know which is the more likely to score accuracy icons:

4 die defenders (1 blue die each) (consider sloane and BCC in play, so free reroll with BCC, and a reroll on crits)

8 Tie fighters (1 blue each) (rerolls on crits only)


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

4 Tie Defenders (assuming acc fishing)

1.3125 hit
0.8125
2.125 acc

Well the above doesnt add up to 4, so something went wrong. Still 8 Tie Fighters wins

8 Tie Fighters -

5.0 hit
0.5 crit
2.5 accuracy

Thanks Ginkapo, so really, if I'm interpreting this right ,taking a swarm of ties is only marginally better for farming accuracy icons, but would likely have a higher damage output?

Exactly. Sloane makes Ties Fighters and Interceptors useful against ships, rather than anything more obscene. You can now run an all fighter squadron wing without worry of facing someone without squads.

The Imperial Navy doesn't want any rebel scum winning games

with bcc you have 8 rolls each.. odds of rolling an acc should be the same for 1 defender/bcc and 2 ties.. but the ties have an outside chance of getting 2. In a swarm of 4 and 8 that expands the chance of more acc with the ties.
