Most unrealistic charater in the game?

By Calibri Garamond, in X-Wing Off-Topic

Of the charatchers represented by the various pilots and crew cards we have in the game, which one is the most stupid?

Personally, I have a hard time with C-3PO:s origin. But I am not well traveled in the EU and I am sure there must be another charater that, in stupidity, tops strong AI built by child.

A Hutt jedi comes to mind.

Even Crayon Eaters are calling **** on that.

Skippy, the Jedi Droid.

what did I win?

The Vong.

Sure C-3PO's construction by a 9-year-old is a little lame, but we don't actually know how much programming young Anakin did. Maybe he salvaged programs from other droids the way he did physical parts.

Starkiller Base? It's a hyperspace weapon. If matter can cross the galaxy in minutes, then energy can do it too. That's not un-Star-Wars-reasonable. My problem with Starkiller base is the beam's visibility from Takodana. How can it be traveling through hyperspace faster than light, and move slowly accross the the sky of a planet lightyears away? It still isn't enough to break Star Wars for me.

At the time of publication, the Vong divided fans, and it didn't make new fans. I never met anyone who said, "I became a Star Wars fan because of the Vong." I know plenty of fans who quit the EU at the Vong invasion.

Most Star Wars fans have concepts/characters/events they would have done differently. A lot of these are things fans share and they become part of the community. It's the "Han Shot First" meme and the, "(insert character name) is a Mary Sue" arguments. We still enjoy it, because even with these flaws we love to discuss; it's still Star Wars.

Star Wars stopped being Star Wars when the Vong invaded. The first thing we learn about The Force is from Obi-Wan: "It's an energy field created by all living things." The Vong broke The Force, they broke Star Wars, and their exclusion from neo-canon is part of the reason many people (myself included) are enjoying Star Wars again.

Another problem with Starkiller base is the "starkiller" part. Destroying stars would wreak havoc in solar systems.

Looked like any early testing the FO did had drained their sun enough to cause a frigid climate on the Starkiller planetoid. It is unknown if the star that powered the weapon was completely 'drained' or if it just goes dark for a time, creating a type of recharge wait time for the Starkiller Hyperlightspeed weapon.

Anyway, I don't really have a problem with it. Not as dumb as the Suncrusher, dark saber, galaxy gun, Ect.

Don't be silly, stars recharge over time. It normally takes about 48 hours.
