So after playing a carrier list and not being all that successful at it, I thought I would go back to something I know how to fly and fight. C+C is as always appreciated

Beautiful.

Few things, generally TRCs work better than Slaved Turrets on large red dice pools, though with Ackbar Slaved Turrets is a reasonable choice.

How are you going to command those squads? Is it worth dropping the Assault Frigate to a B variant and giving it boosted Comms? Jan Orrs would add a lot to the robustness of those Xwings. Escorted Z95s are glorious if you have any, whereas Awings struggle to bring their full worth as their counter doesnt get activated.

Throw Jainas Light on one of the ships, its bound to come in handy.

Opening Salvo is strong, I urge you to read the scoring condition for it though. Most Wanted may be the best, though unexciting, I do like Opening Salvo. Your ships tend to die, rather than hang around hurt, so shouldnt be too bad.

I dont like Planetary Ion Cannon here, maybe Hyperspace Assault or Jamming Barrier? Its worth noting that Ackbar dice are added to the pool AFTER the intial roll so your ships are barely affected by the jamming barrier...

Solar Corona is nice.

I usually run TRC but thought I would save the point as most often I will only get one broadside regardless, Like the Jan addition, should have had her to start

will try Zs rather than As cause your right without the named pilots they tend to fade quickly. So gonna run with this then. Tourny tomorrow night so I will let you know how it went

Of course. DTT is a boosted reroll. Slaved turrets is marginally better for the single shot, however CANNOT shoot twice is a big thing. Less so with Ackbar but still.

gonna got with the DTT then, add Leia to flotilla and drop a Z for a bid (7 pts should be more than enough in my meta)

with 5 activations and 9 drops I think I would go for 2nd player
