First Armada list

So I just dived in and bought Armada. I got a Starter box, a Raider, a Light Cruiser, and a Fighter 2 pack.

Here is a 400 point list I whipped up, seems like a decent list with some synergies.

Victory-II Star Destroyer: Grand Moff Tarkin, Minister Tua, Reinforced Blast Doors, Expanded Hanger Bay, Gunnery Team, Overload Pulse

Raider-I Corvette: Rapid Reload, Impetuous

Arquitens-Class Command Cruiser: Enhanced Armament, Engineering Team, Centicore

3 TIE Fighter Squadrons and Howlrunner

Maarek Stele

Morna Kee

Decimator

Lambda Shuttle

I figured that Howlrunner and the TIEs can escort the Victory around the board, as it can activate all 4 of them at once due to the Hanger bay.

Maarek Stele can escort the Raider around.

Decimators actively hunt enemy squadrons, along with the Lambda in case I need to activate them, or have some longer ranged activation's on the ties.

Oh and I have a question as well. The Command Cruiser has a defense token that isn't in the rulebook or reference guide. What does it do?

It's in the box, but Contain negates the standard AND ONLY THE STANDARD critical effect.

The rules for contain are on the fold out leaflet that came with the Light Cruiser.

Make the Raider-I a Raider-II, and move the overload pulse there instead. It seems cool at first on the Vic-II but you don't have anything with big enough firepower to take advantage of the enemy ship you exhausted all the defense tokens on. You want the smaller Raider to exhaust the defence systems and then have the Vic-II smash it to bits.

ahh, that does make sense. I think I was thinking it just counted vs that particular attack.
