Greetings! I don't think you'll have any problems finding a group - Ben, one of the managers at Quarterstaff Games, has a long history of supporting the game, and is definitely on board with the LCG. You'll also have an excellent scene to the North of you in Montreal, and about ninety minutes south is Black Moon Games in Lebanon, NH.

Most kotei sized events the past ten years were in Detroit, Toledo, or Chicago. Flint had a really good scene Emperor/Ivory.

I have already heard from AA friends who want to play the new version.

I lived in TN when I played back in Gold/early diamond. Then left the game for about a decade. Moved to MI, where a Buddy from work got me re-hooked towards the end of Emperor (and the crap pile that was Ivory). Never really had the time or money to goto the tourny's, but hopping to change that soon.

I live just north of Sacramento, CA. None of my gaming friends are getting into L5R, so I'm hoping to find some kind strangers near here to play with when the game comes out!
