Does anyone have the height, width and length, in inches, of the U-Wing model? With the wings folded. I want to see if it fits in my current kit before I buy it.

I make it just a hair over 3 1/2" long, and about 1 1/8" wide with the wings closed.
What's your current kit, Ken? :)
It fits into a small ship space in KR foam, as long as it's one of the extended spaces for Starvipers or B-Wings. So, anything that takes a Starviper on its stand will take a folded up U-Wing.

I've been using Battle Foam. I have a custom layout and it's fairly full. Extra space I used with extra cutouts and compartments. So if I know how big the U-Wing is I'll know if I can fit it without getting a replacement tray. Which I'd prefer not to do. My kit has every X-Wing ship I own including Epic, except for the spares of course. Plus six 3d asteroids, four 3d containers, one 3d (Hasbro I think) escape pod, a bunch of 3d debris wrecked ships. I like it and it's easy to use and store.
If you're sure the U-Wing is not bigger than the StarViper, I'll do some testing tonight. If I can get the height just to be sure that's be great. Thanks again.
Unfortunately, I am no longer home to measure. It's pretty flat though.
If it fits all of that, you can easly just stash the U-wing inside with a asteroid or epic ship.

I wish but no. I wouldn't keep a ship with asteroids. The asteroid would destroy a ship. Besides, most ships are all kept in their individual compartment. I added extra compartments rather than waste any space. But that doesn't mean I have lots of room. The advantage of custom foam is good protection, but the disadvantage is lack of extra space or buying more than you originally planned. That's why I asked for the dimensions.
