Hello!

I have not previously been an X-wing player, but I have found myself in possession of a nice little handful of used, mostly Rebel, ships, which I know is enough to make 100-point lists at least a few different ways, so...I guess I'm diving in.

I live in a city with an X-wing scene, and have a friend or two that plays, so I'm trying to figure out some fun configurations that I can experiment with for a while until the day I decide to add more.

What Rebel lists would you make if you owned the following disparate collection of products?

1. Force Awakens Core Set
2. One extra T-70, ship and dial only
3. Rebel Aces
4. Sabine's TIE Fighter

I'm messing around with:

1. an XAB list based on Poe, Jake, and Keyan
2. an XAB with lamer pilots but the addition of Captain Rex in the Tie.
3. an XXAB with Poe as a leader.

Anyway, I'm open to suggestions. I'm looking for fun more than I am looking for success in a tournament scene, and my version of fun is probably more about clever spatial maneuvers and dodges than it is about card combinations.

Probably do this with your limited collection. Ello can do white tallon rolls, and R5 bot lets him even do it over debris when he has to. Poe has BB8 letting him reposition, and Wired gives him offense/defense mods when talon rolling. Rex draws the aggro and provides early defense for squad. Can EMP enemy to allow Ello and Poe to tallon and get behind them. Prototype is your blocker. It's how your T-70s are going to be able to push damage through.

Ahsoka gives you some action economy. She can give your 3 attack ships a target lock or boost/barrel roll at beginning of combat phase.

Thanks! Love the idea, but since my extra T-70 is just a ship and dial, I don't have some of those things, like Ello or the Fire Control system.

I just thought I'd update this a little bit, since I'm trying to get psyched up to enjoy a store championship in a few weeks, hopefully without getting murdered immediately as I so often am.

I have a couple more things at my disposal now, and am still trying to make fun rebel lists. Alternately, if there's a single purchase you guys could suggest that would put me in shape to make a fun 100-point imperial list to go with all the TIEs I have, I'm interested in hearing about that.
