I've been doing a couple of quick things to my bases that I think have worked out well. I figured that I share them and see if anyone has any similar things they've been doing.
The first thing that I've been doing is taking a little bit of white paint to fill in the arc markers on one side of each base. This gives my bases a clear marked front.
The other thing I'm doing is putting a bit of paint inside my bases and on the bottom of my minis. This lets me quickly put infantry figures back in the their bases in the correct position for their pose. Front left is blue, front right is red, back left is white, back right is green. The color on the bottom of the figure matches the color in the recess in the base.
Any other ideas out there along these same lines? I'm tempted to cut out the pegs to make the models go into and out of the bases more easily but I'm wondering if there will be enough wear after a dozen of so games that the peg won't be a problem.
