I disagree a little. IMHO the best scenarios are asimetrical. Desperate runaways, sabotage, etc. The key here is that the scenario should not only describe objectives, deploy areas, etc. Also the forces involved. No X points to choose. No. Veteran X wing, R2, Proton Torps. Yes.
You write a cinematic scenario. Share with your fellow players. Choose one week before with scenario you are going to play. Read it carefully. Plan your tactics. If it is a good one you will play it more than once.
We have played some Squad Leader sceberarios perhaps 15 or 20 times over the years. You wish you could deploy 2 Tigers and not 3 Panzer IVH. But no Tigers here. So you must play with the tools available.
So no triple U Boats, 4 x TLT Ys....etc
