So we've got a top 4 bet going for Worlds 2017 and we are making lists, one for each faction, and putting a star on the winner. Each top 4 squad that matches (within 4 upgrades, all pilots matching, +5 if you get all but 2 upgrades, +10 for a mirror squad), gets 10 points, winner selection gets an additional 10 points. So when Worlds is over, we'll open the envelope and winner gets to brag and the losers buy the beer for the next games of the month or whatever. Anywhay, here's where I need help, I got some solid info and feel on the Rebels and Scum....I'm really struggling on my Imperial selection.

Throw me a bone.....Ideas?

I doubt Imperials will see much play at Worlds. The only squad I would maybe bet on seeing some game time and doing well might be Tie Swarm. I don't think the trip-aces lists we've been seeing recently are good enough to take the high powered Rebel/Scum lists down.

This is exactly why I'm struggling. I'm sure the Imperial choice will be the deciding factor (if one gets that far) as we all kinda see the top squads of the other factions quite clearly.

Considering you have to pick an Imperial list, go with the Quickdraw, Omega Leader, and Vessery list that has been going around. Sorry I don't have the exact list handy, but there are multiple Battle Reports on the YouTube recording its victories.

Essentially the three best Imperial Ships in terms of efficiency is probably a solid bet, though I also wouldn't be surprised to see a Deci/Ace make it.

I would LOVE the see a TIE swarm take worlds. Could you imagine?

I'll be flying Vess, QD, and Sabacc. So if I make it to top 4, make sure you guessed that. Of course last year I only went 3-3 while flying a list very similar to Nand's...

RAC with Gunner and Hotshot Copilot has been doing solid work in my local meta. Add a decent ace in, and it's a tough list to beat.

Problem is Paul decided to win Naboo with a stresshog and a bombing Miranda. Both aren't good for an ace let alone the stress shuts down RAC.

Just bet "No Imps anywhere near the top 16 tables". It's a pretty safe bet.
