Is anyone else bothered by the fact that FFG has not announced the prizes for worlds? They did post this several months ago but have yet to tell us exactly what people can expect to play for.

They have also failed to announce anything about the Store Championship kits. They must be very busy on a super secret project that will bring peace to the galaxy.

I actually expect something this week, probably on Wednesday.

Or that will keep the local tournaments in line...

A limited edition copy of Stay on Target along with an early copy of Sabine's Decimator.

My guess is that they will spoil the prizes for the European Chgampionship first.

I think some of the prizes at least are pretty obvious, based on recent developments:

World's participation prize: Alt Art x7 title

World's top 16 prize: Alt Art Emperor Palpatine

Store Championship participation prize: Alt Art Zuckus

Store Championship top 2 prize: Alt Art Manaroo.

I have discovered what they are:

OP has been quite busy with the opens worlds and store champ planning, and the regionals for other games. IMO dates for store champs are more pressing. Those who are going to worlds are going, they aren't changing their plans based on the prizes. However, people do still need to plan their lives for store champs.

New grey dice introduced for X-wing confirmed!

I'd be more excited for the dice if every side wasn't blank. I'm betting they're intended to replace the green dice, so that, you know, you actually have defense dice that you can reliably predict.

It's not like they have to come up with them now... Worlds are in 2 weeks with change, they've had the design finalized for ages.

And they've been so busy with the Opens we have to look for the winner of Coruscant on twitter, because OP is so busy they can't even write an article congratulating the winner of the biggest series of X-Wing events in the world.

I assume we will have at least the gold/silver worlds dice like the last two years.

Shouldn't ass-u-me anything.
