Would all of us refusing to reply to "would nerf blank blah blah save x-wing wah wah" threads save these forums?

By Cloaker, in X-Wing

Because trolling for desperate replies and attention is like, uh, the galaxy's WORST cologne.

X-wing is emerging as the hottest miniatures game in the world. Doesn't need savin', it needs playin,' of which its getting a lot of no matter what "The Empire is falling!" save x-wing nerf this hanfoolery tries to say.

I dare you, nerf herders, to channel your inner Elsa. Wookiee up and play the game as designed and have the furballs to build and fly ultimate counters to whatever your perceived OP meta lists may be. Play those anti- TLT / or stress counter Attanni Mindlink or whatever lists 20-30 times. MASTER THEM. When you've shown a willingness to fly and beat then you got street cred to observe and speculate.

But until you put in the flight time, lose the whine.

Will reading any more of these threads save my sanity? No, it won't.

Nerf sanity. It's OP

Will posting a satirical thread mocking a trend on these forums cause that trend to cease?

No. Which is why I will not make a thread with just that title.

Of all the 22s, this is the catchiest.

These threads pop up because they're relevant discussions to be had. It was reasonable after the FAQ that other things that were also problematic for the game be discussed.

Now that the FAQ has been out a while and the dust has settled, nerf threads have also become less common.

The amount of discussions about a given topic is correlated to how relevant the topic is? Who would have thought.

Why does everything need "saving" all of the sudden? Save Star Wars... Save X-wing... Save the forums... These threads just keep popping up like bad acne.

For once, I completely agree with something I've seen you post, Turbo.

Our creativity is spent. April is the slog month for me.

Nothing will save these forums.

Save the whiners. ;)

Criticism, complaints, praise and questions are healthy for every aspect of life, including our lovely game. Great thing is, in forums in lieu of water-cooler talk, if you don't like the topic, you don't even have to hear any details at all; don't click it, read it, post on it, etc. Fantastic control. This post is an example of that, exposing the wonder of the ability to use our voice......or fingers.

Easy. Freewill is amazing.

Save the Rebellion. Save the dream.
