Has anyone started organized play? I thought there were going to be release events and an escalation league, but no one in my area seems to be doing anything. This despite there being a couple of well organized local game stores and one store that was promoting Runewars Minis pretty big on their FB page last week.

There was a launch kit and there will be an escalation kit when wave 1 starts trickling out.

I ran some launch adventure stuff at my local gamestore. It's not really a tournament, but its a good intro to the game.

My store didn't have anything alas. Frankly looking at some of it online I wish it had just been part of the core set. The mini campaign seems perfect for using a core set to learn the game and engage the players. The short play time means you could easily play through it in one sitting unlike something like armada.

If they didn't order the launch kit before February 23 they might have been out of luck. Escalation kits come with wave one and Q3 kits come this summer

I had my store order the launch kits about a week ago and they arrived yesterday so it's definitely not impossible. I intend on running the kit this weekend just to build some interest in the area.

Yeah seems to be extras around at some distributors. Likely not many got preordered due to the whole order before launch thing.

Alternate Art Kari (full art for her) and Ardus (full alternative art), and a new mission called Skirmish

FFGC is going to have their first tournament on Sat, May 27th FWIW. I'd like to think we'll see the OP docs prior to that. Least I hope so, so I can finish up the Cryodex support in the off chance the scoring system is 'different'.

Scoring will be a reverse of Armada I think since you tally points by what is left alive for you.

Sure, that can give us MoV, which is what I've put into cryodex, but is a win just a win or will it be Armada like with tournament points mapped over that?
