Are you looking for Slaves, Slavers, or Imperials? If not, who else?
He shifts his weight and raises up. His arched back, straightening giving him a few more feet in height. He has a puzzled look on his face.

Tox retracts her blades and stands up, into a less defensive stance. Why can't these two give a straight answer? Dropping her arms to her side, in a show of leery trust, she looks the two strangers over. Clearly, they aren't Zygerrians. That doesn't mean they aren't slavers, but they don't look the part, they look like they are wearing ragtag armor . Tox glances at her companions and then at herself. They look like us.
" Let's say for a second that we believe you mean us no harm, who are you? Who is our mutual contact? Give us information, " she glances at her team and sees a slight nod from both, " We give you some information. I'll start. You can call me Tox. That's Khaine, " nodding first to the human and then to the Gand, " And that's S'zish. " I hope I didn't show our hand too early.
Edited by Mattimeo84They call me Worm. That's M'rash. We are free.
He thinks trying to figure out how to talk to these complicated people.
He doesn't know their mutual contract. It's not like that here.
Things pass through links that don't know their ends.
He looks up uncomfortably at the sky distracted, he sniffs the air, his ears and whiskers twitch.
We should go before guards come. Follow? Or will you make your own way?
His eyes locked on, however his body starts to turn to leave. He moves to walk on all fours, low to the ground but pauses waiting.

Khaine looks over to Tox and S'zish. "Maybe there's more than one cell?" he says with a shrug. He turns and starts to follow these two newcomers but a trained I would see that he was clearly on guard, rifle ready to be unslung just in case. As they start to head away Khaine takes a quick glance back at the Gwenrarl. I'll be back for you...
Chapter 4
Logistics of Entropy
The group makes their way further into the residential section of the herd ship. M'rash and Worm are taking Khaine S'zish and Tox to the nearest site where members of the Insurgents are gathering. Along the way it is revealed that the Insurgents have no dedicated base of operations. The Herdship is too small for a base to remain truly hidden for long. So every few days a new meeting place is found. By and large, each member of the Insurgents takes care of them selves. Food is either harvested from the Jungle or stolen from the slavers. The controlled environment does not necessitate shelter but finding a place to hide while you sleep is better done alone or in small groups.
Casea contacts you on the the com link and informs you that she finally made contact with the Insurgents and that someone at least is expecting you. Keeping her abreast of your recent acquaintances she agrees to stay where she is and monitor the turbo lift. Issuing a few nondescript complaints about the lack of coordination and info as she reports to you the status of those on the C-ROC.
When you make it to the site there seems to be nothing distinguishing the location from any of the other empty store fronts that you've been passing by. However after a short time an Ithorian emerges from the shadows and looks nervously around. The Ithorian waves you forward and ushers you into the back of the building where a group of other escaped slaves have gathered. They nervously ask questions amounting to "Who are you?" and "What do we do, now that you're here?"
How many of you are there?
The big Selonian calmly asked.
This den looks frightened, recently freed?
He leans contemplatively on his staff and looks over the group.
Much work to create a fighting force. However I've seen the bellow of an angry Ithorian, we have a chance.
Do you know how many slavers we must contend with?
1 hour ago, TheShard said:How many of you are there?
There are 5 here, Ithorian except for one Gotal.
1 hour ago, TheShard said:Do you know how many slavers we must contend with?
All of them? There is no clear answer. And it highly depends on what you are trying to do. The Zygerrians managing the facility number in the hundreds.
Do you have any plans? Do you have supplies?
10 minutes ago, TheShard said:Do you have any plans? Do you have supplies?
"Plans?" one of the Ithorian responds "Plan for what? I barely made it away and into hiding. My only plan is to keep away from the Zygerrians so I don't end up a dead example to the others. I should have just stayed. Now if I go back they'll just kill me"
The Gotal speaks up "I know where some spare blankets can be found. Is that the sort of supplies you want?"
Thank you, yes that helps. He says to reassure the gotal.
We need something to change the balance of forces. Or we need more forces.
Please tell me of your escape...
"Greetings." Khaine looks around trying to be as reassuring as possible. "Listen, I'm going to be straight up with you. We stumbled upon this operation while looking for something. Now we're stuck here with you. The difference is that we weren't captured and they don't know that we're here. We didn't set out to rescue you, no one even knows that you're frack'n here, but we think we can cause those sleemo zygerrians enough trouble to get a good number of you out of here with us. Maybe more." Khaine pauses for a moment and takes a deep breath. "I'm not going to sell you false hope, but if anyone can tell us more about this herd ship and the zygerrian's operations that would be great." Khaine tries to catch the eye of anyone who will look at him. "The more we know. The more we can help. The more we can help. The better chance we have of getting what we came for. And getting as many of you out as possible."
Edited by AhrimonHope is best put aside.
He looks each one dead in the eyes as he speaks steady and seriously.
This will take thoughtful planning, it will... Take discipline and a decisiveness.
They have a ship?
Newling...
He turns to to Khaine
You spoke of us leaving, you have a ship them?
Khaine tilts his head a little as he turns to answer the Selonian. "Mostly. We have a small ship that we arrived in. We came here to salvage a larger vessel from above." He turns to the assembled masses here. "You might not know this, but this herd ship that you are living in is part of a ship junkyard on a moon. Above us are wrecks and debris from the battle of Nar Shadda from four years ago." He turns back to the selonian. "We came to try and salvage one of those ships and anything else of value that we could get our hands on while no one was looking. But we discovered this hidden complex and we discovered that the zygerrians are using the ships up there to power the dome above the herd ship. If we disconnect one of those ship the whole dome could come crashing down onto the city here. So here we are to see what we can do to get everyone out of here."
S'zish shifted slightly then turned towards the Selonian "S'zish is curious as to the number of beings that are within the ship, how many guards, how many remain with the Zygerrians, how many have escaped?" S'zish paused to allow for a reply, anticipating that the Selonian would at least have an estimate of the numbers, but not exact ones.
Looking at the meger group in front of her, Tox can't help but question if this is a fool's errand. So few, most weak, against so many? What chance do we have? Tox clenched her fist, angry at the situation, and, if she was honest, angry at herself for her hesitation . What choice do we, I, have? We must help!
Striding forward, she looks the speaking Ithorian, " What we need is information, hands to fight and weapons to arm those hands. Where can we find these? Have you heard any speak of an armory or munitions depot? "
"What can you tell us about the zygerrians? Where they stay, where they go... anything." Khaine says as he sits down. Absently he pulls out a ration pack and begins to munch on the food. Seeing the hungry eyes of the slaves around him he hands most of it over to them.
Worm lands back, propped against the wall and added by his tail.
He paused to think over the question, but decided to let these odd characters talk.
Might say something useful... Yes.
I think, new comers, you also should tell us what you know. How did you come here, what have you seen eh?
S'zish looked at Worm, he kept speaking but not saying anything. Some beings are like that but, S'zish thought to himself, if this one wants the group's help then the questions need to be answered. "S'zish thinks that this group has given enough information to receive more than questions in response." S'zish stopped for half a second, sometimes speaking basic was uncomfortable even after all this time. "If no being here has the information that is needed, then such a being must be found." S'zish turned towards the other members of the group that had come with him to see if they agreed, while also keeping one of his eyes on the Selonian the see what the "talkers" response was.
Khaine looks over at the selonian with a slight questioning tilt to his head. "I told you all we know. Why we initially came and how we got here. The question you should be asking is how we're getting out of here. And to answer that we need to know as much about down here as possible."
The Selonian explains the disconnected organization of the escapees. He explains the mine setup and his best guesses at numbers, and everything else he knows.
