On the strongholds, looks like bottom right is fate, bottom left might be out of clan personalities (neutral ones or economy?)

The kanji in the background symbol to the bottom left number is "honor," though I'm not sure what that means mechanics-wise.

I'm going to go with Starting Honour, since it needs to be something (0 is lose).

Who says there won't be Kachiko/Hotaru?

Also, there are other things which aren't quite the same. IIRC, Satsume was still alive at the start of the CCg.

Satsume was in Scorpion Clan Coup, and died of his injuries before Imperial Edition as I recall. Emerald Championship was one of the first story tournaments, after all.

With regards to Kachiko/Hotaru, it may still happen, but it won't have a Dairu. Dairu's death was the motivation for Kachiko to unleash the False Hoturi on the Crane, which caused so much damage to the Crane's forces that the Crane gave a blank check to the Mantis, which the Mantis used to fund Yoritomo's Alliance and ultimately becoming a Great Clan...

With just that one change, we're headed into wildly divergent story.

The Crane army can be still wiped out by, say, the Wasting Disease or another plot device. The problem is whether the Crane players will be up to fund Yoritomo or look for alternatives knowing that giving money to the big guy will bite them in the back later. Unless they go with the new!Phoenix/Maho route and don't give the players a real chance to decide.
