I tried to get into Armada when the game was new and bought most of the early releases but then I stopped playing because I didnt have time to play both Armada and X-wing. I figure I might try to get back into Armada in the summer and dont mind adding a thing or two to my collection, just to scratch that FLGS purchase itch.

Here is what I have. I would like to know if there are maybe two or three purchases I could make that would really spice up my collection:

Core Set, ISD, Victory Class, Gladiator, Imperial Fighters 1, Home One, Assault frigate, Neb-B, Corvette, Rebel fighters 1, Scum fighters (Falcon, Outrider etc).

Imperial light cruiser, and a flotilla for both factions.

Flotilla. Its the right call meta wise, and it opens up your collection to more possbilbities. Also cheap and good for that FLGS buy.

What faction do you prefer? ( looks like Imps)

if so I would echo the giraffe, if only imps, maybe substitute the rebel flotilla for imperial squadron II for the defenders and shuttles.

i like the squads in corellian conflict and use their stuff more than the generic whenever I can as well.

Grab an MC30 for cards and a good Rebel ship.

Then 2 of each Flotilla and 2 of both squad pack II's open up the largest range of options you could access. Only interested in doing one faction feel free to skip all purchases for the other. IMHO the pelta, Arq, and Interdictor are all fun and beautiful on the table, but skippable as they are niche and lend themselves to relatively narrow playstyles.
