Faction Unit Types Complete List

By Watercolour Dragon, in Runewars Miniatures Game

I haven't seen one (although may have missed it) scrolling through the forums so thought I'd do a list of the factions and the units released (or being released) for them. I haven't called them 'armies' although that's how they're often referred to in case there may be options to mix factions within an army in future.

I've included which sets the units are in and the quantity as well.

I'll aim to keep this up to date as a useful reference along with the existing Master Product List - Released/Announced/Rumored here

https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/234425-master-product-list-releasedannouncedrumored/

Might be useful to add the base army points of each unit if people wish? Let me know of any errors and the army unit points if you'd like those added.

Main name is in most cases as on their cards, or where there are choices the main unit type, again let me know of any mistakes.

"A unit consists of one or more connected trays, the figures slotted into those trays, a command tool, and a unit card. All of a unit’s components must match the unit’s type. " From rules reference.

Thus numbers are given in the form X trays of Y figures per tray (Total Z figures)

Counts- and adding trays counts, Ravos theory

I would list quantities by tray it's more consistent with how the game plays. The upgrade figures I would list together.

Also I believe there are 4 trays of archers (16 figures) in the latari expansion

By tray seems a good idea, I'll change that if someone can confirm the numbers, probably both ways (x trays, y units), FFG are good at making it hard to get figure counts for sets, I went off one of the pictures but it wasn't too clear, zooming in it does seem to be 16, they kind of merge together zoomed out (fails army leader job, it's o.k., only eight of them, oh no there are twice as many!), thanks.

This is the image from the news article for the elves. It shows: 4 trays of archers, 2 trays of leonx riders, 1 scion and the faction hero. The archers are for to a tray and the leonx riders are 2 to a tray.

In the core box are the following:

THE DAQAN LORDS

Spearmen (Infantry) - 16 figures, 4 trays

Oathsworn Cavalry (Mounted knights) - 4 figures, 2 trays

Rune Golems - 1 figure, 1 tray

Hero: Kari Wraithstalker - 1 figure, 1 tray

WAIQAR THE UNDYING

Reanimates (Infantry) - 16 figures, 4 trays

Reanimate Archers - 8 figures, 2 trays

Carrion Lancers (riding Carrion Worms) - 1 figure, 1 tray

Hero: (General) Ardus Ix'Erebus - 1 figure, 1 tray

in the expansion boxes are 2 trays which the corresponding number of figures (except heros and command)

Thanks both, added that information, will come back later and do the expansions as I've got to leave and return here later (for now the count for these is figures but the trays are fairly obvious for the expansions)
