Does anyone have a good Boba Fett (crew) story to tell?
Any good Boba Fett (crew) stories?
I dealt a face-up damage card (thanks to greedo) to a decimator holding palp and jerjerodd on board and boba fett flew over despite Jerjerodd himself patching the hole and boba grabbed the emperor by the neck and dragged him out into the cold dark vacuum of space
Edited by DeathstarIII had Hound's Tooth equipped, and my Z95 got hijacked by boba = (
Sniping the HLC from Rainbow Dash. Such fun.
Boba Fett at the 2016 regionals. Triggered in five games of the eight played, dumping three Palpatines, an HLC from Dash, and a title from Dengar on the way.
Turning Dash into an awkwardly-PS'd blocker felt great .
This was from NakeDEX in the "upgrades going beyond the call of duty" thread.
I've never checked the rules to see if it was actually how it would work, but I landed a Direct Hit which left him with 1 hull, then Boba Fetted his Hull Upgrade destroying the ship

The Face-up card being dealt lets Boba do his job. Taking away a ship's Hull Upgrade seems perfectly legal and if it can't survive without that hull (which is really just an upgrade saying "this ship takes one more damage card to destroy") then I guess it's dead.
One time, we were hauling glitterstim in our snuggling compartments, for the Hutt cartels. Our freighter was a reconfigured YT-2400 with a lot of modifications to make it fast. Real fast. Some said it was the fastest ship in the Outer Rim. I'm not sure about that, but she was **** fast. The Broken Bantha wasn't much to look at, but did I mention she was fast?
Anyhow, after a close encounter with an Imperial patrol off of Dantooine, most of our crew jumped ship once we were dirt side at an ore processing station in an asteroid belt in what was once the Alderaan system.
I knew spacers and stick jockeys would be hanging around the only drinking establishment at the cruelly named Organa's Organ. Undoubtedly so called as an insult to the former ruling family.
Well that's when I saw him. A strange man encased in ancient mandolorian armor. We were going to need some muscle once our we reached our delivery point so that's when I approached the mando and asked him to sign on to the 'Bantha.
oh oh you mean good stories issuing the Boba Fett crew card?
A friend of mine managed to snip the Ordnance Tubes off of a Raider early in the game (double homing an assault). It became a SpaceBrick (tm).

No, keep going. I like where this is headed...
The thing that makes me smile more than anything is taking the TLT from a kannan/biggs build. The look on the opponent's face is priceless. (Always causes a TO to come over and explain that yes this can happen!)
Well, a good story I have facing the Boba Fett crew card was when I was running 5x Scarif Strikers against the player... it feels good when the opponent only has the choice of garbage or garbage to remove from the Strikers surrounding him.
Or another time against my 6x TIE Fighters with Crack Shot... that had all used their Crack Shots by that point. That one felt glorious.
Block a Lothal Rebel with Zeb Crew with a Boba scout while having ini. Get a crit in and remove Zeb. No return fire. Sweet!
Leave a Hull Upgrade Carnor Jax on one hull after dealing a crit, remove the hull upgrade to kill it.
And of course, the many Autothrusters, HLCs on Dash, Punishing One titles, Emperors, TLTs on Miranda, Stressbots. Oh, what a joy.
Mr. Heaver, this card is awesome. Thanks!
One non standard Boba... Double Epic Imps vs Rebels with 2 Scum ships. Boba with "Manhunter Equipment" homemade upgrade card. +2 pts. If you remove a crewmember you can put a blaster on his/her head and equip that card replacing Boba's.
No Emperor or Vader on the table. Many "generic" crews. Boba snatched "Fleet Officer" from a VT 49 and she started to aid X Wings against the Imperial Forces. And early in the game. Boba was a crewmember in a generic YV 666. When fired the Mango no shields remaining on the VT. Quite funny.

That's an awesome rule! We should make that standard.
I've claimed the achievement for " first card deleted by Fett in a tournament."
He got me at Milwaukee regionals the morning after its release.
Vader got wtfpwned off my decimator in round one.
Hera Syndulla was piloting the Ghost with Nien Nunb in the co-pilot chair and Han Solo in the gunnery room. Bossk and Boba were both on the Houndstooth looking to settle a score. The Mangler cannon rips a hole in the hull and in flies Boba Fett. There was a slight moment on indecision, as Boba eyed the Twin Laser turret control mechanism or his arch-nemesis Han Solo....but Fett stayed true to the mission, ripped the TLT right off the wall and darted into space. I nearly had a perfect story book ending if I had grabbed Solo, but I made the right decision.
One hot Boba from our last Double Epic game.
Each side deploy 300 pts. 3 x 100 pts squadrons arrive as reinforcements. Enter turns 3, 5, 7. Random selection about who enters.
Turn 7... Generic YV 666 with Mango, Boba and K4. Quite cheap, plus Z 95s. No advantage and perhaps 15 ships fighting at point blanc rangenear the center of the table.
Quickdraw SF TIE with 1 shield left. Facing a rock but with Advanced Sensors and no stress giving tools alive no problem about this. After rolling dices 2 crits on her... so bie bie last shield remaining and one useless crit inflictef (no secondary weapons on the ship).
Boba saboteurs Advanced Sensors. Must fly over the rock next turn. Crit. Direct Hit. Laughts. Many Jokes. Bad language. One child present. So not only one less ship...also one euro penalty (Bad language with children in the room...money for Church charity).
And the bonus shoot fired by Quickdraw when Boba destroyed the Advanced Sensors... Rng 1 vs Tarn Mison with no shields and no tokens... Dodged. Quickdraw hit hard in previous rounds low Agi Y Wings, so delicious revenge.
The interesting Boba Fett story that I have is Boba trying to remove crackshot from Tomax Bren. This happened to me during a second day of Naboo Open and it was one hell of a judge call. The ruling (that took some time and several judges to make) ended up being that its allowed due to a wording of Boba's ability (specifically him removing upgrade as opposed to forcing the other ship to discard upgrade).
This aspect of Rule Lawying X Wing is the worst part by far of my game experience. So only casual play for me.
X Wing was so simple 8 waves ago...
