As the title states, the new rebels trailer shows them having X wings for the first time. I personally believe that this could have us see an x wing +A or Y wing pack relating to rebels or something like that since they release just about everything that pops up in rebels. If Red/Gold/ or Rouge squadron is founded in the show we could have something pop up with that... So I'm all up for some phoenix squadron a wings and x wings.

How does everyone see this affecting the game in the coming months? Will the last jedi take away the slots for these ships' release? Will they even do a tie in with these existing rebel ships to the show?

Green X-wings. I need them.

U-wing makes an appearance too. Opens up more options for an ace pack down the road (like waaay down the road, the rebels have a long line of ships to be fixed).

If they don't fix the X-Wing given this many oppertunities (Rogue One, Rebels S4) I'm going to be incredibly pissed.

It does make an X-wing/Y-wing fix much more likely, given that everything from Rebels gets released at some point. A-wings seem less likely, given Rebel Aces exists.

Although we are almost certainly going to get a new A-Wing based on The Last Jedi, which could conceivably have upgrades that would work for both versions. Probably not until next year though, and A-Wings are in a pretty good place in the game right now. Rebel Aces gave them good tools, and they've been popping up in various configurations (5xCrack/Snap Shot, loaded Jake as a second Ace in the two-ship list).

Fingers crossed they steal liberate them from the Empire.

At this point, I would happily deal with an expansion pack that made x wings dominate the meta for a few release cycles. If they can make something like the jm5000 they can do the same for the t65

Still Waiting on Blue Squadron X-Wings, and now they're throwing Green Squadron X-Wings at us! How will my wallet ever survive if FFG capitalizes on this?!?

So much possibility for a rebel ace pack ! A blue Xwing (rogue one) with a green xwing (rebels).

The true question is : When FFG ?

Understood. I'm in it more for the models than anything. I started as a collector but now I dabble in homebrewed scenarios and have been dipping my toes in repainting projects and customs. I also have an affinity for 3D X-wing scale terrain. If it wasn't for the models, I wouldn't be here at all. I'm about to start a HOTAC campaign soon and would love some green X-wings. I suppose I could just repaint a few ships but I've got several projects going as it is.

I was beginning to wonder when we would see them. With A-Wings showing up in both Rebels and Episode 8, I was beginning to think this game had been misnamed. . .

I want scarif tie fighters... not the Strikers but the orbital defense ones.

if it's anything like our miniatures game, Luke Wedge and Biggs combined will be unable to scratch the shields of a single pre-nerf Defender.
