Dash Rendar's card says that he can "reroll 1 die for each enemy squadron or enemy ship at distance 1."

Does that mean I can attack multiple ships and/or squadrons at once?

I thought a squadron only can attack one squadron/ship.

For example, Rendar can roll 4 blue dice. He attacks a Tie Fighter and rolls 3 hits and a scramble. He rerolls the scramble to get a hit. That's how I read the card.

No. You can reroll 1 die for each ship and/or squadron.

So Dash is attacking a TIE Fighter. He's only engaged with the TIE fighter. He throws his dice, and he can reroll 1 of them.

Dash is attacking Vader, who brought Soontir Fel along with him, so they'r eboth engaging Dash. Dash throws his dice, and he can reroll up to 2 of them, as he is engaged with 2 people.

Dash is now attacking Howlrunner, while she brought 8 TIE Buddies with her, and they're all engaging him. He throws his dice, and he can reroll up to 9 of them. However, he only has 4, so the most he can reroll is all (4) of them.

Dash only attack once but the more enemies engage him the more dice he reroll .

So if he is engage with 3 squadrons he throw 4U and could reroll up to three of them after roll them.

So if Rendar pitches into four TIE squadrons, all within one space of each other, and Rendar attacks one. He rolls four misses. Because they're are four TIEs he can reroll all the dice. Is that right?

Yes - but a clarification - All within distance 1 of him (Dash) . Not necessarily each other.

It can also be: "Dash Attacks an enemy TIE fighter while also being Distance 1 from an enemy Ship. He can reroll up to 2 of his dice."



"Dash Attacks an Enemy Corvette with his 1 Black Battery Dice. Because he's within distance 1 of an enemy (he has to be, to attack), he can Reroll that dice."

And remember as well, that Rerolls can be Rerolled - as long as you have a different source for the Reroll.

For example:

Dash moves and attacks a TIE fighter. He is currently engaged with 3 TIE fighters, and has an enemy ship within distance 1, too.

He Rolls 4 Blue Dice.

He gets CRIT, CRIT, CRIT, ACC.

Swearing heavily, he uses his Dash-enabled reroll, to reroll all of his dice (3 Enemy Squadrons + 1 Enemy Ship = 4 Rerolls)

He rerolls and gets CRIT, CRIT, HIT, HIT.

Still not killing the TIE Fighter, he notices that Toryn Farr is within Distance 3, to let him reroll a Blue Dice.

So he rerolls one of the Crits, and hopes to get that 3rd Hit to One-Shot the TIE fighter.

Basically, its "Dash only gets one shot. But that shot can reroll as many of its dice as you have potential targets."

If Dash is attacking a ship with his black anti-ship die, he can reroll it as well. Like a built in bomber command center
