Has everyone seen the Celebration panel with Filoni, and the unfinished video of the duel? It sort of reminds me of the Maul/Obi Wan duel from the end of Rebels s.3.

Well, yes, but Obi Wan is a finished product that was probably tested numerous times before release. It wasn't in the animatics stage.

It would have been really cool to have this finished - especially because it would explain boba's iconic dent/blaster damage on his helmet

To be fair, most people in this universe take a shot to the shoulder and die! This makes boba extra special

I took it as they're both equals and neither died. They're both considered to be awesome. But it would be cool if Boba scored a kill and ended up living with iconic close call too

Bane needs to die or really fail at some point. Boba isn't the biggest bounty hunter in the GFFA for nothing.
