It doesn’t look that good.
I’d say the negative effect of too many Star Wars movies is starting to set in.
Trailer up!

Oh come on they said that at Episode I. This isn't something new anybody's saying.
It's just people saying

So is Luke the last of the Jedi? Is it Rey? Is it both of them? Or will there be more (a few still in hiding perhaps)?
A Star Wars fan that doesn't understand Jedi being able to be both singular and plural is a poor excuse of a fan.
I'm not sure what issues people have with the trailer. Light on action, sure. It's a teaser, and they don't want to give away the full story. But, it asks a BIG question. Luke thinks the Jedi must end. That should leave any fan running fan theories in their head at lightspeed.
Also, it is quite clearly the most beautiful Star Wars film to date.
My feeling is that Luke saw that two extremes of the Force (Jedi & Sith) were just that: too extreme. Galactic conflict came from it over the eons, again and again. He tried to do it right, but the dark side reared its head and destroyed his new Jedi school via Kylo & the Knights of Ren, so he retreated, to hide, to keep the knowledge out of the hands of Kylo & Snoke.
If he trains Rey, and they are the last Jedi then it is solely to stop force users with any substantial knowledge of the Force from causing more conflict. Basically, in my mind, I feel that Luke wants to cut the Force users out of any doings in the galaxy and let it fade away. It's going to be Rey's job to show him he's wrong about that.
Maybe they're going to flip the "rule of two" and only have two light side users keeping the dark at bay.

but it looks pretty darn close proximity. so my estimate is off by a bit (the cone is probably only 6-8 meters deep) but that still puts the sip in the 60-80 meter range. given the size of the ball turrets, i'd say closer to 70 to 80. combined with the ~70 meter height, that would still put it closer to the Gozanti in size (which is 63.8 meters long, 14.7 high, and 32 wide.)
given the ball turrets, i'd suspect it may be an anti-fighter platform. like a pocket Lancer Frigate. or perhaps just a light patrol ships, comparable to the Torpedo Boats/Fast Attack Craft IRL. (especially the ones seen near the end of WW2, where they traded away their anti-ship torpedoes for greater anti-aircraft and anti-personnel weaponry to help fight off airstrikes and other Torpedo boats.)
could make an interesting Epic ship for the Resistance.. introduce PWT hardpoints perhaps? or perhaps just be an epic with forward firing hardpoint weapons, and a trio of standard turret slots?
All said, I might still be inclined to argue that it is a bit smaller, like maybe 30-50 meters except for one other thing. When that tie fighter smashes into the chin of one of those ships it doesn't phase it in the least. This suggests a great deal of structural strength and mass. So yeah, it could be bigger than I think.
I will say this, that the trailer is very boring to watch after the 4th time, because it more or less follows TFA's teaser trailer formula.... c'mmon disney, gimmie something new to get excited about! (Besides the fact were getting a new star wars movie, and luke actually talks this time, and etc. etc. basically stuff we already know)
( also there wasn't a han solo type reveal at the end of the trailer)

But seriously, does everyone still remember how much of the Rouge One Trailer was in Rogue One? (Spelling intentional)

But if its the end of the Jedi, what does that mean?

But since Leia kissing Luke on Hoth the entire Galaxy knows.
Btw: the TIE the Falcon blew up was an SF but standard FOs are chasing it.

It's time for the Jedi to end.
It's official, Luke Skywalker is turning to the dark side. Possibly Rey as well.
Which would make an interesting twist if Kylo Ren's struggle with the Light Side made him turn him back into a Jedi.
Ups, posted in the wrong thread.

After what happened to his father, I think that Luke of all people knows better than to view the Dark Side as a solution to your problems. Whether Rey will have her own struggle with inner darkness remains to be seen. After seeing both Luke and Anakin face this dilemma, I would rather see Rey face some new sort of challenge.
I am sure that Kylo's "pull to the Light" will be picked up on in some fashion, even after he tried to extinguish the light in himself by cutting down his father in cold blood.

If you Really genuinely understood it, you wouldn't be asking such a... Question.
Come on, "it's time for the Jedi to end" is what bitter old master Luke says at the beginning of the movie, and his new young apprentice, Rey, is going to convince him the cause is worth fighting for and he will change his mind by the end of the movie. It's a classic trope.

This is the easiest and most likely explanation. I was just fishing for something a little deeper.
