Forgive the stupid questions but I have not had a chance to read the rulebook.

What pointlimit will tournament games be played at, and how long will games last in tournaments?

Probably 200 points. And 1h 30min. But this is my prediction. Noting known yet.

Its 200 points confirmed. And people have been reporting games lasting around 1.5 hours, although I believe this is with smaller point counts.

The one video I have seen with the learn to play was an hour long. It will likely be 2 hours tops though at 200. Maybe.

somehow im guessing the 1.5hr time is simply "new game syndrome" stalling everything. The game is capped at 8 rounds so even if you roll like total ass and dont do anything the game will end at a fixed time.

But, i know xwing and armada are slated for the worst case scenario most of the time for round durations so it'll probably be 1.5hr for this game just in case.

My first game was with just the core and it took about an hour and half to play. There was a lot of bumbling around and it felt like if we knew what we were doing then the game would have been around an hour at that point value. It seems like a 200 point game in 90 minutes should be about right.

Whew! That fast? That would be entertaining to get 2-3 games in and maybe even have 4-5 rounds in a single day...
