I've never played QGJ/Rey, but from playing against it a lot:

The Awakenings stuff all looks pretty standard. There's a few other options, but they are all pretty obvious.

Secluded Beach seems like a pretty strong battlefield for this deck, since you'll rarely have much ranged damage, though it's not completely benign.

Handcrafted Light Bow seems fine as a substitute for a saber.

Not sold on Force Heal. Healing is good, but it seems like a pretty horrible cost to benefit ratio. About the only real thing I can see it doing is a way around unblockable damage, but not sure it would be worth it.

Caution is probably pretty good. Rey's dice is dead often enough to make good use of it.

Guard seems good for the same reason. Being able to turn Rey's +2 damage that you can't resolve into dice control? Yes please.

Evade seems bad. I'm not too hot on this or the melee version, and my gut feeling is they are terrible (overcosted for their limitations). It seems particularly bad when you are already running Dodge and Deflect (and you're never NOT going to be able to play Deflect, unlike split colour decks). This is the only card I think is a definite cut.

Ok thanks.

I agree about the Evade , I will have a look at what I can put in it's place.

Any cards that give shields are damage cards for Qui-Gon

No Force protection? 3 shields is better than paying 1 buck for 2 heal

Vibroknife, Lightsaber specials and those like them, Willpower, Synchronicity, and possibly others say otherwise.

I expect to see an increase in melee decks because of Vibroknife. It is the primary reason to give Force Heal a second look.

Does Synchronicity work if you have melee and shield dice, as well as other sides? or can you ONLY have shield and melee. Sorry this is slightly off topic.

You have to have melee and shield, other sides don't matter.

Force Protection is terrible, IMO. It's super overcosted for what it does.

If you were looking to cut Force Heal, I'd look at another offensive attachment, or Rey's staff potentially does both.

Yeah I have tried force protection , it can be handy , sometimes I wish I still had it in the deck but it's hard to fit in and pay for.
