A whole bunch of folks (6-10) bought at least core sets at hobbytown in Nanuet (Rockland county). Not sure if it's going to take off at the other store I frequent (Modern Myths in Mamoroneck) since that store is still swimming with GW folks.

I think I'm close enough to Nanuet to make it out there once in a while. Is there a particular day of the week that RWMG is most likely to be played?

Yes. Monthly tournaments, store championships, a very healthy X-Wing community. You can probably find games any day of the week if you ask on either the main group or the local X-Wing group, "Red Die Squadron Hudson Valley" or something like that.
