Shadows in the Light (OOC)

By Ryoden, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

I'm torn between the C-Roc and the Ghost. Both have the speed and firepower to do what needs done and both have the minimum number of hardpoints to add a hanger.

I know we won't likely find either in perfect order, but those are my thoughts.

Based on @Ahrimon already picking C-Roc, I am going to hedge my bets and go Ghost (VCX-100 Light Freighter).

C-Roc is clearly the better ship, so I'm going to double down.

The Victory is in the Age of Rebellion core book , but it's silhouette 8.

If sil. 5 is the max then I'll say the Raider II-class corvette, which is in Friends Like These . It still Imperial, but it has smaller crew requirements than most other Imperial ships. If that's still too big then an Imperial Customs Frigate ( Fly Casual ) will be my choice.

I dont have Friends Like These. Can you PM me the stats for the ship?

The In Character post is live.

Try and limit posts in the other thread to in character only (actual dialogue or description of actions, situations. Any questions about rolls or the like should happen here as well as a link to the results of rolls.

Post in character whenever you want during most times though please do try and remember that some of us cant be on all the time.

If we are in a structured combat I would like to limit it to one post from each player representing your turn in the initiative. If that means we all end up waiting for someone to post for too long I will deal with it then but lets give it a shot first.

Tell me if this looks wrong to you. @TheShard You still need to edit your character to reflect what we discussed. Specifically the starting Obligation is 10 not 15 so I adjusted one of yours down by 5.

Dice rolls in here right? Or did I misunderstand? Here is a link to my destiny roll.

I did my part, 2 light! http://orokos.com/roll/507272

I selected vigilance as my bonus career skill.

Also, I get an error about this not belonging to my account (or somesuch) when clicking the Mud Pond Salvage pdf.

Finally, ooc I'm not sure how we'll get to the starship graveyard, but I assume (given the amount of technical expertise in our group) that we can find a ship and fix it enough to fly it home.

I should say, having recently lost pretty much everything I will be on the look out for some weapons and armor while we're up there. Either whole or in parts that I can use and that I can use later on in my tinkering.

Edit: Did anyone's Obligation start off in the beginning?

Edit 2: I just posted my first in character play by post... post. =) I should have done this years ago.

This should work better.

Yes but I want to make sure everyone is OK with the chart of Obligations.

worked!

Despite the cringe when I saw we were at 105 for the group, I'm good.

I suppose we could lower starting Obligation to 5. But that would mean some of you need to drop one entirely.

I could drop one, easily. I added it in because I needed to get to the extra credits.

I was unaware we were allowed to go over double starting obligation (i.e. >20 obligation).

Yeah I had indicated that I was allowing it. Would that change your choices?

Just did my first IC post.

Regular text is exposition. Bold is her spoken word. Italics is her thoughts when important.

Love it, and you cut the one I was gonna cut as well. Perfect.

I'm good either way. Over 100 just means that we have to work some of it off before we can spend xp. And since we just started it'll be a while before we have much xp to spend.

If we keep the extra obligations and lower the groups starting to 5 each, a not unreasonable number and suggested amount for 6 players, then our total would be 80.

This is much more reasonable. How do you all feel about this for your Obligations?

Looks good, except S'zish is an Explorer Big-game Hunter, not a Smuggler Pilot

I mean, more xp is always nice (or the money!) but since you were kind enough to revise the base to 5 I won't push my luck. ;) (Seriously, I decline to add any other obligation to my character, final answer.)
