Good job on getting yourselves set on actually heading out to the field.
Any last preparations?
Do we need to do a knowledge check on the ships out there? Are they are sealed and with antigrav? The EVA suits are encumbrance 12. Combat in them is would be near impossible. We can work on things but we would be blown away if there's any sort of scrap.
Also, how many suits did Tox get, so I can write it up in IC?

You guys have essentially already done knowledge checks for the ships out there. That's what brought your group together in the first place. That is reflective of the list of six ships that I will be drawing from first.
If there are any specific questions you have I might be able to answer them. But for the most part the area where they have been brought is a mystery. The Imperials kept everyone away.
From what you have pulled together over the years, the moon they are on is a small no atmosphere moon with minute gravity, much like our Earth's moon.
6 of them.
Edited by RyodenShall we, load up our new (to us at least) construction walker, and the 3 DUM droids? I am assuming that since its a YT-1000 that there is enough room for both.

That is an accurate assumption
Just updated IC, will change at least one line to account for droids. Hope that's ok @Imperial Stormtrooper that I did that, I know you mentioned it first.
Edited by Mattimeo84@Mattimeo84 yesss the satchel. I have a surveyor's bag too, and I always call it a satchel in my head, hahaha.
I was made fun of for not having a bag... I had to make a joke about it.
@Mattimeo84 That's fine, I'll put something up soon for loading the walker.
Also I have an IC request for the spending the credits, so I'll throw that in as well.
Edited by Imperial StormtrooperGood call on Slicing Gear

@Imperial Stormtrooper Agreed.
@Ryoden Finding slicing gear out here... should we do that with Streetwise, or Negotiation? Based on our shopping list, Fzaexx and Brin can always head out to pick up supplies while IC the rest of the team get the ship ready for take off (maybe bring some muscle with us just in case).
Also wondering about rarity.
Things I thought of: (price - rarity)
Slicer Gear 4 -500 (Ok, wasn't my thought)
Emergency Repair Patch 2 - 25 (Heals Droids Wounds, just in case)
Fusion Lantern 2 - 150 (Provides light and heat)
Surveyor's bag 1 - 50 (It's my list)
ECM-598 Medical Backpack 4 - 450 (Boosts Med Checks, Decreases Crit Checks)

Be an easy negotiation roll to find it. One purple.
Basically everything on nar shadda has a rarity 2 less than its listed one. As though it were a core world. Anything can use Negotiation but (R) items have an upgrade to the difficulty. Each check represents one "round" of searching for the items. A round is about 30 minutes.
Multiple items can be shopped for concurrently but the difficulty of the check is all difficulty dice added together. That means dozens of simple to find things can be found together but try and find two hard to find things and you are facing 6 dice.
Each success lowers the cost by 5%, each advantage can be used to decrease the time needed to find the item by half. Failure means that price goes up by 5% for each. Threat doubles the time needed to find it.

So if you were to go out looking for all these things with one check it would be average (2) difficulty. (the 4s drop to 2 and add one die each. Everything else adds no dice.)
Edited by RyodenSounds like a job for @Hinklemar XD
Just wondering if @Weedles and Fries and @Ahrimon want to add to the shopping list.

I'm sure they will. So let's not do any rolling tonight.
@Hinklemar can also be our medic. He has the highest medicine ranking of our non-fighters.
There was another medical bag (Military Medpac (3 - 400)) which granted one free rank in Medicine. We could switch to that one (or do both) which would further help.
Also, as a completely unrelated aside, where is everybody located and what are they do? I'm trying to put more of a name to a face, if you will. Also know when people are more likely to post and when they aren't likely to post in relation to my time zone.
I'm Matt, a stay at home dad in Orlando, Florida.
Name's Roy. I work a 8-4 out of upstate NY so Im on Eastern time. Not sure about the rest, but Ahrimon is based out of Europe for now.
Did my IC post. It's a bit long, but it was a fun repair montage.
Supplies wise I'm not sure. We have spare parts from the scrapyard that we can always flip a DP to say we brought the right spare part. We have tools. They're not "the right tools for the job", but they are sufficient to get the job done (no setback).
We could always use a Mechanical Dianoga (225c, R4, Special modifications pg 52) Remove BB from checks to remove system strain from starships and vehicles.
I don't think the EVA suits are Enc 12. That's the EVA Power suit which run 1500 credits each and eliminate the penalties of 0G actions. We probably have Enviro-Suits which are Enc 2, 750c basic space suits.
My name is James. I'm currently living in Germany but I'm moving to Virginia around mid June.
I normally work a 7 to 4, but sometimes have to work odd hours or weekends.

That was a fun read. I'm so glad you did instead of me. My would have read 'Tox looked at the walker. It works. Yay.'
can we get an official ruling on which suits they are? I'm more inclined to believe they're the smaller environment suit, but they were originally listed at EVA's.
I almost added the Mechanical Dianoga as well.

I won't reveal my name (sorry), but you can call me Rain. I manage a SUPER SLOW video game store near Toronto in Canada and draw comics as well. The former pays better than the latter, but what can you do? I tend to stay up late working on deadlines, and I can post as long as I'm awake (most days starting at 7 am, or when I work in the evenings, starting at around 11 am). As you can tell, this kind of forum is very easy to accommodate into my lifestyle
